That's not a too detailed answer from Laidlaw but as he stated "the armor works the same as the weapons" I would assume the armorset will also wait us pretty much in the same place where the weapon will be. I think there hasn't been a BioWare game where the DLC-stuffs would have been seperated into different chests around the gameworld but they have always been found from the one spot.

 

You are absolutely right that we should get a clarified answer because we pay extra 10 euros/dollars for the Deluxe edition and for the whole Flames of the Inquisition set.

Seeing as the vast majority of the people that are currently playing the game are using the standard edition I think we can reasonably say that they won't be getting any of the DLC gear until launch day. It is also highly likely that we would receive such weapons quite early on, and as such it kind of makes them useless if you are playing with EA access (until crafting).

Ideally id like low level versions early on, while also then getting the schematics. But if i had to choose one of the other id take the schematics over items we'll proably out level within an hour or two.

I did the quest for the red lyrium weapons on the site too, booted up this morning and nothing....

Level 7 (out of 20!) and so far no paid for or bonus content.

I'm more interested in armor. We'll get it at the same beginning, after a prologue or until we will have our skyhold?

 

After you wake up in Haven, there's a chest in the same room called Special Delivery. That's where you get your armor and weapon.

Just got this answer from EA Support too, will now have to wait till after work to see if my toys are waiting for me.

I did not have access to them in the trial, fingered crossed!

Figured it out! I restored the licences and loaded the game back up and they were in the chest! Yay

Ok folks, I deleted the Deluxe upgrade, re downloaded and the items started to appear.

 

Spoiler

• Class Weapon & Armour in Haven Chest upon awaking.
• Mounts in various places on War Table (I was level 7-9 when they showed for me, may show sooner)
• I have yet to obtain the Flames Schematics either. (Currently level 9)
• I still have not encountered the Red Lyrium Weapons yet. (Currently level 9)
• I imagine the Throne would show up once you have Skyhold.

How do I get the weapons and mounts after I have already started a new game? I forgot to put in the code since I was so excited to just start playing. I've already gotten pretty far and downloaded the deluxe edition content and I don't know how to get it in game now.

I preordered physical copy. How do I get the weapons? I reached frostback mountains and I haven't seen it. Looted everything in Haven.

I'm a few hours in and haven't received any of the items; weapons, armor, mounts, etc.  So hopefully there's some kind of patch or something to ret-con them in?!?  I guess I'm not that far along where I could restart, but, kinda annoying.  Yow-mean.

Yes, from Day 1. Iirc, one was a large chest, and then another one. Can't remember the second one.

What platform are you on/where did you buy from? Think there's a big issue with digital copies of pre-order bonuses on consoles.
