The absolute quickest way to fast forward time until we can play DA:I, is sleeping. Ive slept everything from 10-12 hours a day the last week. And every time I get the chance I take a nap. When I wake, I force myself to sleep again if I can. Just wondering if this can be dangerous because I've been having increasing headaches and my body feels really bad
I try to take a cold shower and exercise etc. to off-set this somewhat.
However every waking moment without DA:I is a living nightmare and torment. It is pointless to even attempt doing anything without constantly think about DA:I. And the closer it gets, the more I am inclined to sleep. So yeah... sleeping too much, its not dangerous is it? Can you suffer any lasting damage from forcing yourself to sleep all the time?
My record so far is 15 hours. When I woke up then, I felt like I was literally about to die.
Can over-sleeping be dangerous? (Only way to fast forward time until DA:I)

I'm not Doc, but I think you'd be kinda weak. Resting, yes recharges your body. But you also need fuel inorder to recharge.

Lasting damage? Not really. You will lower your metabolism, forcing your body to store more food. This will cause you to be tired more often regardless of how much you eat. There is a whole list of side effects of too much melatonin, but not sure your body will over produce it just because you sleep more.
All of that would be reversible after a few days of normal sleep cycle.
The biggest issue you will have is lethargy and being unable to stay alert and awake even when you want to when the game releases.

Too much of anything can be bad for you. I have slept as much as 15 hours at onew time but it was because my body needed me to. I work a 2 day week on Sat and Sun. Two 12 hour shifts. I have to get up at 5:00 am for those 2 days. I rarely get to sleep before mid night. I am also on pain meds for my back. They also cause drowsiness. When Monday rolls around, I am pretty much exhausted so I spend most of Monday asleep. The rest of the week I sleep 6-8 mhours on average.

Sheesh. If I sleep even an hour more than usual, I get an awful headache for the day. I can't imagine sleeping for 24 hours. If you feel as bad as you say, your body is telling you to knock it off. I suggest listening...

I have the opposite problem.
I sleep too little because I have to study for my exams.I am literally devising a plan on how to sleep for 10 hours each day, 3 days before the 21st so my brain can experience Inquisition to it's fullest extent.

My recommendation is TVTropes. I've lost several entire days with "I'll read one more page, then do something else" thinking.

Navasha: Thanks, good answer. I'll try to cut it down abit. But its so close now that I really just want to sleep more, not less :S
I think you're probably better putting that $60 towards a psychiatrist rather than a computer game...
Its not a computer game, its the next chapter of my life ![]()

TVTropes? What is that? O.o
As for TV shows I just re-watched the wire. All seasons. It did cut some time.

I second this! Look up Dragon Age and any other games or shows you like, you wont notice time passing at all.

Start here, open anything that interests you in a new tab, then close the first one and repeat with the next one. You can easily do this for more than 12 hours.

Time seems to pass faster as you get older to. I know that weeks go by so fast for me. I can barely remember to pay my bills on time. I also have a rigorous daily routine. I get up at the crack of noon. Then after a quick visit to the toilet, I read for 3-4 hours. At 4(1600) I watch Ellen. Then I game on my computer until 8(2000) I watch 2 -3 hours of TV depending on what day it is. Then its back to the computer for some more gaming. Around 2(0200) I start getting sleepy. I get ready for bed, read another hour or 2 then it's lights out.

Go out and do something fun while you wait instead. You only live once.
Oversleeping isn't dangerous (as long as we're not talking several weeks to months of only sleeping and not drinking/eating) but you'll feel like ****.

This OP is a little worrisome. While I'm excited for DAI, my life isn't revolving around it. It's just one of many things going on for me. Setting yourself up for a game with this much anticipation is just asking for pretty intense disappointment. No game will ever live up to this much hype. So, go out and live the rest of your life. Video games are great, but they shouldn't define your existence.
Hopefully this is just a troll, otherwise it's a little alarming.

Yeah, sleeping too much gives you headaches. An extreme of anything has side effects, too much sleep, not enough sleep, etc etc. Moderation is key.
If you want to fast forward time, my secret, Netflix.
