Mine initially said Wednesday but UPS now says early delivery for Tuesday. I guess I didn't expect the inquisition.

My copy has shipped last night and it'll be arriving tomorrow afternoon on my doorstep or mailbox ahh cant wait to make my Inquisitor!

Not it's not suppose to however that doesn't mean that game can't arrive later due to problems in transit. I've gotten amazon orders lost for over a month before they showed up. (wasn't a game tho)

Over the years, I've ordered dozens (literally) of physical copies of games from Amazon.  Depending on where you live, it's not uncommon for the game to not ship until as late as the (late) afternoon of the day before release.  What's important is where you live and what shipping option you picked, not whether you have Prime.  

 

Over several years, Amazon has never once missed a release day guarantee.  If your preorder still says that delivery is guaranteed by the 18th, you should be golden, regardless of whether the game has shipped yet.  

 

For what it's worth, I live on the East Coast, USA, and my game hasn't shipped yet.  Not worried, though.  Hope my experiences set some others' minds at ease.

It's not unreasonable to expect some sort of incentive for losing access to the benefits of the physical copy. 

It is, because while losing the benefits of a physical copy, you are gaining the benefits of a digital copy.

 

1. You don't have to waste gas, time, shipping money etc. to actually get the physical copy

2. The game is tied to your account, so it's always yours. If your physical copy gets scratched, stolen, broken etc. you are screwed.

3. You can fly around the world, and log into your account on another ps4 and download and play your game.

4. You can access your game anytime through your PS Vita via remote play without the need of having the disc in your ps4 drive.

5. You can play at 11pm TODAY, while others have to wait for their mailman or for the store to open tomorrow

Ok I just canceled my Amazon. How do I get the game digitally for ps4? I know logging into the pan etc

It's still common to see people not use digital versions because not only do they WANT the disk and box, there's always the chance that your account is lost for whatever reason. For plenty of us, there's still too little security in it. Digital is more profitable for them, so it should include stronger incentive. I'm not remotely a minority for having that opinion. 

Now, with my PC I never buy a physical version. Many places don't even sell PC games anymore. Consoles are a different beast.

Try to contact Amazon but I doubt you can get it guaranteed tomorrow. Safer bet is a Brick and Motar store.

You can buy through your PS4, or you can go on the Playstation store website and do it there. You can even use the Playstation app on your phone or tablet to buy it.

I managed to get enough money in my account to switch to standard one-day shipping. Hopefully that's enough.

Yup. Waiting for my PS4 to finish updating. Just now got my cable/internet back.

 

I go to the PSN. Click on the game, enter my credit, wait for it to load?

Mine's still not shipped, went to amazon and clicked tracking and they said that it's now finally being processed, but there's still time to cancel and re order if I want to.  I know if you click on the main page for DAI it says that you'll still get one day shipping and get it tomorrow if you order in the next hr and 30 mins.

Mine still has yet to ship, my experience with amazon.ca is that they ship on the release day alot of the time so I usually get it the day after.
