Surprised by this.  I live out in the boonies and we've had a real blizzard going all day.  UPS delivered it through the storm at 11am this morning.  Then again, he delivered to where we work and we have a pretty good relationship with the driver....

I am so jealous.

 

I just got a message saying that UPS can't deliver the game because of bad weather. You'd think that the second largest city in Michigan would know how to deal with crappy winter weather, but every year I'm continually surprised. Hopefully it's there when I get out of work at *sigh* 8pm tomorrow. It's going to be a long day.

I got mine at around 1 PM today. It's installing right now. I'm so excited!

Ugh. Turns out it was all my fault. When I ordered the game back in June I used a temporary credit card (because I assumed it would be charged instantly and it wouldn't matter)

 

I probably won't be getting it until Thursday now.

*sigh* Amazon got it shipped, but UPS delayed delivery for 1-2 days.

 

 

I was hoping to wake up early on my one day off work tomorrow and get a good bit of play time in, but now it looks like I wont get it till late in the evening tomorrow at the earliest.

Weird. Around midnight last night, my copy of the game was in transit and in Baltimore. MD. When I wake up at 7, it says it's back in Sterling VA like it was around yesterday at 3 p.m.

i dont get why people like you opt to use some sort of third party distributor then always freak out when it isnt immediate delivery. if you wanted immediate you should have walked into a store and picked the game up already or have ordered it through origin

Well because it's guaranteed and people generally want to see these kinds of things go through correctly. Amazon is usually pretty good about release-day delivery, at least from my experience.

My Deluxe order was only around 66 bucks. And that's after I changed it to one-day shipping.
