I just like to prove to myself I'm a good player. Truthfully I could careless about achievements and other things that come with playing on a higher difficulty. It's an ego thing for me personally.

Its an extra layer of fun for me that comes from seeing my strategies work against the best a game has to offer. With DA I also get emotionally invested with the characters that I control and so I get an adrenaline rush when I know one wrong move could cause their death. I also take their personalities and fighting styles into consideration when I develop my strategies and its a lot of fun seeing how that plays out.
