I need some help figuring out what to do.

First off, I purchased Dragon Age Origins as a standalone game and registered it to my Bioware account. I played it through Steam.

Then I bought Dragon Age II and registered it to my Origin account. I've tried multiple times calling tech support and seeing if they could merge the two accounts, but they cannot. I played it through Origin.

I purchased Dragon Age: Inquisition through Origin, obviously using my Origin account.

When I log into the Keep using my Origin account, it cannot find my DA:O saves. But DA:O is the one I actually care about as far as world state. I never made it all the way through DA2.

Can I log in using my Bioware account? If I do so will I be able to export that data from the Keep to my Inquisition game?

The thing I don't like about using my Origin account is that it uses generic heroes for DA:O and I can't even change my name to my character's name. I don't mind going through and choosing which choices I made, I just want it to use my hero, not some rando.

What should I do?

Your old bioware account should have become your origin's account so it sounds like you have two?

You can try using your newest orgin's account link with DA:O on stream, you'll just use that e-mail. Then follow the steps in this thread:

If that doesn't work then try this thread:

Yeh, the bioware one did eventually become an Origin account, but I'd already set up an EA account for their sports games, hence the two different emails/accounts. I just wasn't being very smart about setting up my accounts and which one to make my "main" account.

So I was able to login to the Keep using my older DA:O account. So you think I can use it to make an export that my new Origins account will accept?

Thanks for your help.

You can ask EA support to merge your two origins accounts.

You could just take the serial number for DA:O from Steam and register it on Origin with the other account (the one where you have DA2 and DAI).

I've called several times and they are never able to do it. They are always afraid of losing stuff in the process and whave been nice enough to register games from the old account to myt new account, but that's it. The save games and bonus content never come along.

I know, I just mean like bonus content I had from DA:O, for example the Feastday Gifts and such. But that's ok.

The good news is I was able to export a world state from the Keep using my old login, and it brought it into my game fine with the new login. So all is well!

How did you export a world state from your old account and bring it into the game with your new login? I shared my world state from my old account to my new one and it changed the names of my characters.

You can't move characters between accounts. However characters do not really have any significant impact, so all you need is your world state.
