Can't we just get rid of the leaders and force a truce
If only.
Authors pet is more fitting. Too stupid to be a legitimate Sue anymore.
Nah there's some ****** mary sues. *looks at Bella Swan*
Can we at least take her to task for this stupidity if we side with the mages? If we can't I don't see myself ever siding with them. I don't feel stupidity like this should be rewarded.

Ya it the whole Quarian vs Geth all over again....
One side say kill them all while the other side ends up backed into a cornor and forced to join a Evil being.
Again the main difference being the leader of the side backed into the corner WANTED the war.
Something the Geth for all their stupidity are not guilty of.

One side say you must be Controlled or die while the other side ends up backed into a cornor and forced to join a Evil being.
Pretty much. I wonder how much hate the mages would get if say it was someone like Rhys who did this and not Fiona.

Gives me 'bad writing vibes' something fierce. Like when C3P0 and r2d2 showed up in the new Star Wars films, supposedly to help tie the original trilogy to the new one...

After becoming Danarius' apprentice. She was still enslaved for quite some time before hand. So again, mages can be slaves in Tevinter.
Had her talent manifested itself at that point? According to the wiki those who manifest magic talent if they were of the lowest caste move up to becoming liberati.

I doubt it, at least not in any meaningful way. She's too much of a pet for anything other than direct opposition to stick.

Look at the pictures I posted at pg. 7. Those occur if you side with the mages

Shes not really the authors pet either. She play a major part in one book and then came back for a supporting role in another book. Sure she had a major impact on the story but she wasn't shown that much in Asunder. She hasn't been feature enough to be called an Authors pet.

I don't see Fiona as much of Sue, more a poorly written overtly contrived character obviously meant to link stories. Shame they did it that way.
Well put, this is exactly what she is.

I am hoping for a happy reunion for the two of them.
Or Wynne.
Apparently if you have magic in your line it does great things for your age.
Wynne looked pretty old and withered. But that may have been from a mod.

Well that certainly must a serious stab in the heart to have her own son banish her out of Ferelden
Also Wynne is dead. Remember she died back in Asunder.

Good.
Alright now I feel she's not a sue. Just a poorly implemented plot device that should be nuked from orbit.

C3P0 had to show up in the 2nd and 3rd movies because the 4th episode starts off referencing how C3P0 used to be ObiWan's droid during the Clone Wars.
