Death is suitable.

Nope, make Vivienne the Grand Enchanter with Fiona as her underling :P

I have a clarification question:

Fiona joins the Imperium even before you make the choice? Or is that only when you pick the Templars?

I wonder if she can be made tranquil, though to be fair that might actually make her smarter.

I think it's funny to call something a Mary-Sue, like everyone else doesn't have a head canon where their character was the best and greatest of all time and did things no one else could because reasons.

But there's a difference between a personal story and a published story that takes place inside a preexisting gameworld that was built to allow the reader to be the one to live out their own Mary Sue experience. You are taking away the reader's right in that situation. That's where the problem lies. If this were a fictional universe of the author's own creation then it would be the author's right.

You must have missed my signature.

Oh no, I've read. Still don't know why you'd want such a weak little idiot in your country. Waste of Tevinter's resources.

I don't know why everyone is so shocked that the free mages would side with Tevinter. Was it the obvious out come after Asunder. I know people already guessed after reading Asunder that the free mages might turn to Tevinter for help. After all, they would get no support from any white divine chantry nation.

So, to be fair, siding with Tevinter is a rather logical outcome, I'm just surprised Fiona didn't do so sooner. No doubt she tried to avoid it as long as possible because she knows what its like to be a slave and would rather avoid aligning with a nation all of Thedas hates. I'm sure part of the the storyline with the free mages will involved Fiona regretting her decision and needing the Player to save her and her free mages asses.

As for Fenris sister being a mage and former slave, I took it to me that his sister was born a slave and was given her freedom and made an apprentice when it was discovered she was a mage.

No. She dies for all the misery, all the chaos she has helped cause.

Before and apparently the Templars

Spoiler
So the mage or templar choice is about making what the side you support see that what they are doing is completely idiotic while the other side succumbs to stupidity

What an idiot though. SHE COULD HAVE  GONE TO THE DAMN CONCLAVE and then she wouldn't have had to turn to Tevinter in the first place!!!!

Foolish woman. Tevinter will eat them all for breakfast.

C3P0 had to show up in the 2nd and 3rd movies because the 4th episode starts off referencing how C3P0 used to be ObiWan's droid during the Clone Wars.

Obi Wan never owned a droid. He says as much in a new hope. He actually says "I don't recall ever owning a droid"

R2 and C3po's existence is simply George Lucas' shitty writing and a convenient 'plot coincidence'.

No. He fought for their freedom.

Fenris tells Anders in a banter some mages are slaves. Being a mage doesn't mean you're immune to being someone's slave.

  • Anders: So, there must be mages in Tevinter that don't use blood magic.
  • Fenris: Of course. There are slaves. The magisters do not hesitate to collar their own kind.
  • Anders: But no magisters?
  • Fenris: Why must you go on about this? No magister would turn down an advantage over his rivals. If he did, he'd be dead.
  • Anders: You know, to use blood magic you must look a demon in the eye and accept his offer.
  • Anders: I just figured some of them would say no. For aesthetic reasons, if nothing else.

Just keep them as fodder for the qunari. better that way, why waste good and proper tevinter lives in fighting the qunari when you got southern idoits ready to die for us.

Artoo is the one that claimed he was Obi-Wan's droid, not Threepio. Kenobi responded by saying that he didn't recall ever owning a droid before; the intent appeared to be that Artoo merely said he was Kenobi's droid to facilitate the message's delivery. There was no narrative thread that needed to be closed.

I honestly thought that including the two droids in TPM, AotC, and RotS was a neat, if unnecessary, touch that thematically linked the films and added a decent amount of backstory, but it did create a problem in that Threepio and Artoo never made reference to witnessing the events of the Clone Wars and knowing about Anakin and Padmé's relationship. RotS closed that continuity issue as well with Bail Organa's order to have Threepio's memory wiped.

I view Fiona's presence in the novels similarly; I don't have a problem with her appearance in The Calling and Asunder, and although I kind of rolled my eyes at her detaintification I didn't think it was too much for the narrative or lore to handle. I consider the character to be personally obnoxious and I think that she generally makes poor decisions, but there are plenty of such idiots in real history as well. I can differentiate between a badly written character and one that I think is a tosser.

I don't see why. I gave him and in exchange allowed her sister to have a chance in the future to become a Magiste a fair trade to be honest.
