To anyone curious about why the Templars are going to be just as big idiots as the mages are right now:

The leader of the Templars is an agent of Corypheus and he plans to make ALL Templars use red lyrium. Apparently, lots of Templars support this and you have go through a test to convince the moderates that this isn't a good idea. So the difference is that even moderate Templars are going to use red lyrium unless you convice them otherwise.
