Did you watch the video I just posted? She did it herself. And are you serious? These are the people who caused the Breach. I doubt she doesn't know that.

Eh she doesn't strike me as the sharpest knife in the rack she probably doesn't.

Oh please thats just you projecting on to her. Why can't you look at it objectively and see that they were backed into a corner and forced to make a bad decision. Why does there have to be such hate on these forums for characters people don't like and want to be able to murder them?

And she's just the spokesperson she states 'the free mages have pledged themselves' not that she personally made the decision.

*sigh* Just once. Just. Once.

I want two competent, but disagreeing antagonists who just can't be reconciled both with good points and bad points (like actual people ) and you merely choose who's ideals you line more up with.

Is that so much to ask for instead of choosing the less facepalm inducing option?

the whole mage side was about fighting for freedom from the chantry's influence. the various debates on the forums have at the very least shown that the mage side was fighting for FREEDOM. they didn't want to be oppressed by the chantry, they didn't want to be SLAVES however, by becoming servants and slaves of Tevinter they have just proved they don't give a damn about their own cause.

Mages aren't slaves in Tevinter.

*looks at Fenris sister*

I'm sorry what?

Anyone weak enough can be a slave in Tevinter. Mage or no.

I am so happy about this. I officially forgive you for act 3 of DA2 Bioware.

Lolpe, did you expect much from Bioware when it comes to a well written story? With all of the other spoilers and seeing how DA2 and ME3 have fared, DA:I’s ‘plot’ seems to be just the backdrop to interact with our companions. They probably put more thought into writing an interactive romance rather than writing a better plot or have better choices. xD (Though its not that bad to pay $70 for escapist entertainment now and then, just saying)

I think one of the devs said a while ago though that you will have multiple ways to end the mage/Templar dilemma so here’s hoping there’s a rational third or fourth option that isn’t stupid.

Not going to lie though, I’ve always sided with Templars over Mages and I won’t break that tradition if it comes to that. ;P

Gee it's almost like mages always take the idiot option when pressed...

That's... the strongest endorsment of the Templars I can think of.
