So I have a slightly old gaming rig and I don't know if it'll be able to run DA:I. I have a GTX 460, Q8300 @3.2GHz, 6GB Ram. I'm able to run BF4 single on High with a acceptable framerate. DA:I uses the same engine as BF4. But considering DA:I is a lot bigger I don't know... It's the only thing keeping me from buying the game.

Why don't you order a digital copy from Origin?

You can get the refund if it doesn't run well on your PC.

I think you will be fine, all of those meet the minimum requirements I believe. Obviously it isn't going to be on Ultra, but the game should still look pretty nice on that set up.

Interesting that you can get a refund if it doesn't run well. I am abroad for a significant time period with my laptop (i5, 850m, 8gb) and was sceptical about purchasing until I return home next year. My main worry is the i5 is a laptop i5 (high clock dual core with hyper threading) which falls under minimum requirements. That said, I'm yet to find a game which has asked for a quad-core minimum that hasn't run on medium at 900p 30fps on it and The 850m has been performing miricales, especially as I wasn't expecting much from it. A lot of people were saying it is CPU heavy and I wasn't going to try, but with the refund possibility I will definitely give it a go.

you should be fine as you pass minimum requirement. play at lower resolution. 1080p eats a lot of gpu ram and cpu as well, so lowering them, you can bump details more.

Yes, I think I'll buy it, specially because of that refund option. I'm always skeptical about minimum requirements, publishers usually lie about them, but I think I'll give this a chance. My computer is a lot better than the minimum requirements and Bioware has always released great PC ports. That said, I hope we both can run it properly. It'll be a massive letdown for me if not, I really want to play this game, and I really don't feel like getting the old-gen version for my PS3.
