Hello all,

New here to the Dragon Age series but a big fan of the Frostbite engine in Battlefield 4. I was curious as to how the multiplayer works in DA:I. My understanding is that it's a separate entity from the SP game, is this correct?

So will we all start at the same level? Is there no character progression in multiplayer in such that every campaign is a new start? Or is there some sort of perpetual system in place for progress?

Thanks everyone!

Welcome!

Yes, your MP progress does not influence SP.There is crafting and leveling (hardcap level 20) in MP.

You also need to spend skill points to get your skills and you'll probally want to change weapons if you find, let's say, a new staff. Armor is purely cosmetic.
If you'd like to know more, head over to the MP forums.
