SO why are these two people not the leaders of both factions instead of having idiots in charge and thus unneeded bloodshed?

Rhys would be a far better leader then Fiona, after what I heard of why she was not at the conclave, it just pisses me off. Oh well, good to see two responsible people still alive.

Of course this is most likely only if you side with Mages.

Bad things may happen to them if players side with Templars.

It would not be a DA game without balant mage faveoritism. Already bad enough, half of the hinterlands is locked if you don't do the first part of Hushed Whispers before Champions of the Just.

Yup. Redcliffe and the areas past that gate are locked out unless you do the first part of hushed Whispers. Champions of the Just takes place in it's own self contained area(and thus no side quest either) so if you help the mages, nothing is locked, however to get full access to the map you must help the mages at least for a bit. It's bloody stupid.

DO you know how unstable a person is when they find out they where manipulated at the moment? Rhy cracked.because someone he thought he trusted did the ultimate betrayal, it is understandable that right there he made a bad decision, something he clearly regrets. Rhys would have followed in Wynnes footsteps if he was not played like a  lute.

Not to mention that both Rhys and Evangeline would not approve of what both factions are doing in the Hinterlands

This makes me happy. I would be upset if Wynne's sacrifice ended up being in vain, at least so quickly after it was made.

Indeed. Hell what the mages did just in Redcliffe would go against everything they believe in.

OH MY GOSHHH

YAAS.

So happy rn omg

Exactly my reaction. I hope we get to see them in person but even if we don't I'm still very happy about them still being alive. I have a feeling that a lot of characters will only get a text reference through these war table missions. But some reference is better than none.

Reading it now and I don't see any regret like that at the end of Asunder.

See here you're just making assumptions.

Its funny how people got upset at Vivienne's opinion of Fiona but from what I've seen of the free mages quest line, yeah, Vivienne was absolutely right.

If Rhys is approving of what the Mages are doing then why isn't he leading the rebel mages in the war then? Simple, he never approve of what they are doing laterly. Hell, he was reluctant to vote for independence in the first place. People are not making an assumptions without logic to support their case here.

DO you want to know what Fiona is doing in Redcliffe? What she put into motion and got every mage involved into another big mess? It's not assumption, even back at the vote, Rys was still reluctant, I can tell for sure he would never approve what Fiona has done.

Also, note that Rhys isn't with Fiona at Redcliffe.

I'm not a big fan of Vivienne, but I'm with her on this one, hell just look at what happen in the Hinterlands and Redcliffe. Fiona's leadership change the situation from bad to worse. People will always fear and resent mages if that is how they present themselves.
