EDIT: Oh hey, if any of you preorderers could check your preload status, that'd be great. They substract the money 48 hours before launch and that should enable the preload. If it starts today, that should mean that the game is yours on the 20th.

 

It's already evening on the 18th in Australia and they haven't taken my money nor started the preload. The account transaction still says the 20th, but PSN says the 21st.

 

I expect preloading will begin at midnight (tomorrow, the 19th, i.e. in about 4 hours), which means the game will unlock at midnight on the 21tst.

We probably will. I just hope that the store text is universal and that the regional differences aren't visible in the store..

Although all the bug reports make me a bit nervous, so if we don't get to play before the 20th maybe at least some of the stuff is fixed.

Where do you live, mate? The payment is withdrawn 48 hours before release, according to the support guy I had on the phone. I could imagine that the preload stage would start at the same time worlswide - so it might just start tonight?

I live in the uk, hence the game will release on Thursday eve. I guess I still have time but I thought I 'd be able to preload it the moment they charge me.

Btw for all folks who have date problems. I have noticed they updated regional releases so you should be ok :]

I've had the exact same thing. I got the email at 12:08 am this morning but, alas, still no pre-loading.

I guess maybe it's due to mess they had with regional dates. I've noticed that they updated the time in the library to 2d 13h, whilst earlier they used standard one from the shop. So maybe payment went too early? I hope it will start downloading after midnight tonight :]

I don't see the point in the extra spending. I'd like the multiplayer chest (if the content is anywhere as good as the Cerberus Harrier was in ME3), but I don't really care much for the dead unicorn nor the dragon throne.. Perhaps the Red Hart, but 10 euro for a mount and a multiplayer chest is a bit steep. I imagine I could get quite a few regular multiplayer caches for that money

I went for deluxe purely for the soundtrack and dead horse unicorn. Not a massive fan of that throne.

Btw glad to hear they've fixed the preloads for you guys.

I went for deluxe too, I've never not had the best day one version of Dragon Age games so I figured it was worth the extra money.

I'm so impatient, I want this preload already! It's going to take forever on my internet so the sooner the better.

As soon as preload starts I'll hop in my car and drive to my brothers place to download it, his internet in the city is like 200x faster than my 1998 "thats the best you can get on a mountain" 200 kbp/s connection

Took me roughly 45 minutes to download the 2.8gig patch for Destiny, so the full game should take me around 12 hours to download... Assuming that Sony's servers are steady . I am LOVING our new fibre.

Still on the fence on wheter to splurge the extra cash on that. soundtrack is pretty epic, but very much available to stream.. The Throne, I don't care much for. The unicorn, nah.. It'd have to be for the Red Hart and the multiplayer chest :|

Countdown says 1 Day 9 Hours, so it should unlock on the 20th
