I made the funny thing in my gameplay: I made Loghain sleep with Morrigan and make the Old God Baby. So of course, Loghain killed the Archdemon and survived.
Additional note: I made Anora and Alistar marry :DDDD so now the bastard hates me, for all it's worth. Anyway, let's get down to business.
In the Keep, however, if I pick Loghain killing the Archdemon, he will just die and say Morrigan had no baby. The only option apparently available for me is making Loghain have the baby with Morrigan, and then killing the Archdemon with the warden, which would survive.
Seems better than letting one of them make the sacrifice. Nevertheless, it's WRONG. I hope you would fix this soon enough, for I've reported it already and I had no reply or seen it fixed.
Thank you in advance ^^
P.S.: I haven't seen anyone writing this in the forum, so I decided to write it. Maybe I didn't search enough D: if so, I'm terribly sorry, but still this can be a reminder for the DAK Team to fix this issue ^^

That's exactly what's supposed to happen. If Morrigan had the old god baby with anyone then the Warden will be the one to kill the Archdemon.

Evamitchelle didn't highlight this, but it's important... Loghain did not kill the Archdemon in your game. If he did, he'd have died. The warden always kills the Archdemon if the Dark Ritual was performed.

That shouldn't be correct. We take Loghain into Wardens, he drinks blood and becomes one. Then he performs a Dark Ritual with Morrigan, so she has a baby. Then Loghain kills Archdemon and still lives because Archdemon soul is trapped into Morrigan's and Loghain's baby. So there should be an option for "Morrigan having a baby with Loghain" + "Loghain killed the Archdemon' + "Loghain alive and well" choices.
I had done the same in my game and I would be great to see this option in the Keep.
Fix it maybe? ![]()

ok, I might be mistaken. So it is not important who does the ritual with Morrigan and kills a dragon- in any case, when dragon is killed after the ritual by whoever - his soul goes to the baby, correct?

To summarize everything into one post:
If you did the Dark Ritual, the Warden always automatically kills the Archdemon. There is no dialogue; it goes right into the cutscene. If you had Loghain kill the Archdemon, he died, which was Riordan's compromise anyway.
Any other outcome is a false memory (most likely), a glitch, or a mod.

WOW. I didn't notice it in the game at all. It makes no sense... if Loghain is the father, then he should have killed the Archdemon xDDD
My apologies then. Thank you for the answers ![]()
