I've had my Xbox Live account for a while and I've always used my personal email account to sign into the Xbox Live website, so this was the email I decided to register here. My dad just redeemed his code today (mine was redeemed a few nights ago) when we noticed what looks like a problem.
My gamertag was listed under his email, as was his own gamertag. I didn't notice the lack of gamertag when I redeemed my code as I didn't expect it to tell me what my Live account was. I can't find a way to "un-link" my gamertag from his email on the EA website.
Will this cause issues for me when I go to download my Inferno Armor, or will it recgonize the email my gamertag is set to ingame?

I doubt it. I think that you get one set of Inferno armour per Xbox Live account.

i dont like that " one per xbox live account rule " that they put in many games these days.
i mean what if you buy a console with a brother or sister of whoever you wanna play togetehr with, both have different profiles that you use for gaming, and buy the games together, that would mean that you either have to buy the games twice, OR you must play on the same gamer tag, which is kinda lame.<_<

Pretty much exactly what my problem is.
My fiance and I only have the one console and it isn't fiscally responsible to buy two copies of the same game. Why should we get screwed over simply because we like the same games and have two different accounts?

Anything downloaded and licensed properly on an Xbox will be available for all online/offline gamertags on that Xbox - in the case if Dragon Age, all DLC codes were redeemed on my EA account, and my wife's gamertag had access to everything after a little tweaking (specified in the below link):

I would assume that ME2 will also work the same way, and may not even require that tweaking if they had a chance to learn from Dragon Age and fix it in time.
lets hope he is right

Yeah, I'm just going to hope he's right. It won't really bother me if I can't get it to work, it's just a single suit of armor that'll be overlooked further in the game (kinda like the Borderlands pre-order bonus guns).
Thanks, though.
