My Inquisitor's Edition just shipped, as did the art book and my strategy guide (I play with full spoilers because I don't want to miss any quests). The Deluxe Edition I ordered for my sister hasn't shipped yet, but she hasn't received her OS yet, so she needs to upgrade her PC before she can play it anyway.
So yeah, I guess worrying about the bank not paying them was silly.

So you'll be with your nose against the window, in ambush for the mailman tomorrow?
Mine is still 'in progress', but I hope to receive it by thursday. Well, the regular version it it... which reminds me that I need to check with my colleague for the status of the deluxe edition and with a friend for a possible IE (yes, I'm nuts... but I prefer to bet on several horses at once XD I can resell what I don't need anymore)

I'm just hoping the mail carrier delivers it to the right house! Our mail carrier is rubbish, and likes to take parcels back to the post office if they weigh more than the "Delivery Attempted" post card.

Oh, you have one of those as well? Here they just stuff the 'delivery attempted' card in your mailbox, and bring the parcel to the neighbours, or, unless from a shop, like now, to the supermarket. The latter sucks really bad, because their system fails so bad, you won't be able to pick it up until the next day. If you're lucky (they once managed to 'lose' a package for a week)... so I'll just stalk the frontdoor like a rotweiler...

My sister will also be getting a copy, and she's home during the day. She may camp in front of the door. ![]()

At the time, it seemed like a good idea to buy a download of the game so I wouldn't have to wait for a physical disc to be delivered.
I downloaded all night and am only at 23%. It's going to snow, so download speeds are going to get worse. This was a mistake. ![]()
I will be playing this game... eventually. ![]()

Now with how the weather forecast looks, I may not even be able to get home tonight, so Inquisition will likely have to wait, downloaded or no. ![]()

I hope you'll get home safe and sound Hannah. There is a small change that we'll get snow here next week, but that's like two flakes.

Oh, Hannah, it *sucks* that it's taking so long for you!
Mind you, my (physical copy) game hasn't even arrived yet, but my sister is literally laying an ambush for the UPS guy by the front door. I'm not joking. It's 23 degrees outside right now (-5C), so she's waiting *inside* the door, but she says she'll put down caltrops if he tries to get away without dropping off the games.

I so very much approve of this ambush plan! ![]()
My download speed has been fairly consistent, and it should be done around 4am. This game is huge! ![]()

You're getting there. Hopefully, you'll be able to play before morning!
Like any BioWare game, the CC is kinda dicey. What you pick isn't always what you get. I worried because I thought yer makeup looked way overdone in the CC, but when I see it in game, she doesn't look like she's wearing any. It's fine by me! It's just something to get used to.
This dwarf was kinda inspired by Bartha and kinda by Aimo's Blackwell art, obviously. Guess who she's going to romance. ![]()

It's doing about 2% per hour, so it should be done at around 5:30am give or take. Which means I get to play it tomorrow, yay!
I'm on call tomorrow but I don't have to go into work, so I'll have a semi-day off to play.

There are a lot of things about it that suck, especially if you're running a melee combatant. Auto-attack is GONE. Target selection is kinda dodgy. You have to be literally standing on top of someone to even hit them, and it will cheerfully let you use your special abilities when there's no one there to attack. The learning curve is steep. And every time you want to swing, you have to hit R. In other words, Ugh.

As an archer, I can hold down R to continuously attack. I can also hold down left mouse button to do the same. ![]()

Auto-attack gone?! *sad panda* I hate active button smashing
Did you already receive your IE box Ruth? I hear some bad things about the quality of it, and lots of broken pieces?
