I'm just curious, as I haven't played this path out yet.

What happens when you rescue the person that's not with the bomb on Virmire?  The last two playthroughs, I sent Kaidan out there, and let Ash do the bomb and rescued her.

What happens when you rescue the non-bomb person? Does the bomb still go off?  How about the fight with Saren? How does that work?

Thanks :)

When you rescue the non-bomb person you save them and the team of salarians they were with. The bomb still goes off. The fight with Saren is similar i'd imagine, the only thing is he doesn't try to choke you. Instead he hangs you by your neck over a balcony until he is distracted and you punch him. At which point he flys away.

Thanks.

My first game on my FemShep, I didn't like Kaidan, he was too whiny. So I sent him off (to what I thought) was his death. I didn't know you'd have to choose again later.

My second, I was playing with him and Ash in my party. Well, I knew one was going to die, and I killed Wrex already, so I needed the tank more. Also, as it was my maleshep, him and Ash were gonna get it on.

So both times, I left Ash with the bomb, and killed Kaidan.

This time, I'm playing the same maleshep, but I'm using two other people in my party for achievements. Maybe I'll leave Kaiden with the bomb, and save Ash with the team.

Kaiden is such a whinger. I think he needs to take some paracetemol for those "headaches" he keeps having. I means seriously Dr. Chakwas, ever learn to prescribe medication?

I always send the one I'm going to save off with Captain Kirahe, and let the doomed one tend to the bomb. Two reasons: 1) you get more XP and pickups that way from containers that are unavailable if you choose to stay in the bomb area. 2) I like the cutscene that plays when your doomed teammate is making his/her last stand.

As a person who suffers from occasional migraines, I can inform you that paracetemol does nothing to help with migraines. Posted Image I don't know the exact mechanics behind it, but basically the way that migraines cause pain and discomfort isn't helped by the way that paracetemol (and most analgesics) blocks pain.

I've heard this before and it confuses me.  I always have the team of salarians on board after, it never made any sense to me how I was able to get them if I save the bomb guy but there they are.

Commander Rentola will always be on board afterward. Captain Kirahe may or may not, depending on your choices.
