Pretty sure it's just the call out to get to extraction and a few notes.
It's mostly sexual. No reason to be creeped out.

Sounds like "you'll hafta hurry..." or something at about 45 seconds remaining.

joking aside, a little, maybe... anyone have the sound recorded? then try to clean it up? I am a bit curious as to what is actually being said.

At 47 seconds remaining, the pilot actually says "Almost there, get to the LZ."

Sounds like "Not to worry" to me *shrugs* As in, "I'm on the way peeps, don't worry" ... who the hell knows though, this has been punted around BSN from back in ye olde days when it was BSN.

That's what the subtitles say but there's no way that's true

Imagine if the shuttle pilot demanded to be paid by you before he evacuated you. "Do you guys have the money?" ![]()

I extracted it from sound files last time this thread popped up, but it didn´t help much....

Oh, THAT? That's just the sound of the Quarian Breez-a-Fresh filters going online when they have pooped their pants during the mission.

Sounds like "map berry" or "net berry" and that makes no sense. I can't think of anything that would sound similar and fit here.
I bet someone at BioWare put that in by accident and when people realized, it was too late to change.

It's just a ham radio operator trying to contact his friend Ned Berry on random frequencies.

I think it's the pilot of the shuttle, saying "How boring" because, you know, he's done it oh so many times.
That's always been one of the leading theories!
I extracted it from sound files last time this thread popped up, but it didn´t help much....
It sounded like "Nav Buoy" to me.
What I would give to get an answer from someone at BioWare who knows!

Nav Bearing?
The second word does seem like it might be 2 syllables with an "R".

I believe it was put in by a developer with a sense of humor. It pops up at a random time in the extraction wave of a random game and says "Isn't that boring?".
I thought I was the only one who could hear it, and he was talking about my play.

Nav Bearing?
This kind of makes sense. Like the shuttle pilot is confirming trajectory, or perhaps requesting clarification on the co-ordinates of the LZ or something.
Honestly, I'm usually too focused on the game to notice unless the usual audio is bugging out *shrug*

Sometimes not enough things on Map to kill.
