I wanted to know what happens if, during one playthrough of DAI where you have imported your decisions from the Keep, you realize you made a mistake in the Keep and edit your decisions. Then you re-import, what happens? Do your revised import affect your current playthrough or do you have to start a new game for the changes to appear?

You have to start a new game with the revised world state

I find it highly unlikely a new import will affect a current playthrough of DA:I. That sounds like recipe for disaster. I'm fairly confident you'd be required to start a new game to see any changes.
You can't "re-import." Nothing beats the first pure playthrough. So make sure you get the choices right the first time
