I'm on ultra settings (+ FadeTouched texture setting) and it still looks really greasy especially black hair :/
Changing the texture quality didn't do anything.

More importantly why the fack isn't there a black hair option. I mean, my hair can be blue, but not black? Really? Maybe I'm either insane or blind because I just spent the last 15 min going through the hair color options and while I see some close browns I don't see black.

I'm playi ng now, and male hair is just terrrrrrrible.
gross tupees, mullet, bald, man bun, afro, buzz cut with weird hair lines. those are your choices
must be all shared unisex hairstyles because these hairstyles look extremely feminine.

A topic like this probably should have been opened in the spoiler scuttlebut thread even tho hairstyles is barely a spoiler.

As far as I know except of ultra (Maybe) the blue colour is the Black one.

Does it actually look black in game? Because right now, especially in the beard, it looks awfully blue. Guess it's time to try it out... man, Bioware's character designer is disgusting, even though it has come a long way. I've been spoiled by MMORPGs... a lot of them have far less options, but they all look a whole lot better.
EDIT: Nope, it is most definitely blue. Baffling that they would include a blue option without going all the way for other exotic colors such as pink or green, but not the hugely common color of black. Sigh.. well, blue it is...

This isnt a spoiler as we've seen chargen.
I just want to know how to affect the interplay of light on hair. Skyrim does it better so far.
The amount of sliders though for chargen wow

I'd also really like to know this, I'm playing on medium (only got my laptop at uni) and the graphics are fine but the hair looks crap, I can definitely turn up a couple settings as my fps is fine but I can't for the life of me figure out what to change...

Well tressfx would have helped, but if not we stuck with pasty greasy looking hair.

Just look at it as plastic Lego hair glued on their heads, you will feel at least some early childhood nostalgia. ![]()

Hey, I was wondering if you knew which graphical setting to change for the hair shinyness?
Allan Schumacher @AllanSchumacher
Setting mesh quality to high fixed it.

Does that change beards settings aswell? Cause clean cut beards look like blurs in the face
Cullen looks hidious at the moment... Just like a teenager playing with a shaving blade for the first time in his life.
Cassandra's hair acts like a mirror in some angles lol ![]()

Didn't fix it. Cassandra's hair is still blinding me at certain angles.
