Does it work ? :( because im stuck on bioware opening scene then i got the auto save feature scene then after that im stuck got the black screen

I got the same problem as you have. Some comments below say that its the Quad core problem which I don't have. Maybe could be the time zone thing.. but if thats the case it is just absurd. I live in Korea and why the hell would they put the timer in my local time.

p.s already 9 hours have passed since launch in Korea.

Well above minimum specs. Update the drivers for the SLI profile.

A new GPU wouldn't hurt though. A AMD R9 290 or a GTX 970 are affordable and super fast.

mine is a quad core cpu, but still freezes sometime on the main menu screen lol dunno why. other times it's fine. a friend of mine who has recommended specs also had same issue. so not sure, maybe it's optimization or something. can play fine tho, taking a break now xD

Mine is quad-core also.  Game plays fine If I can get past main menu, but getting past that is the problem.

My friend is playing with a i5-2410 dual core just fine for 5 hrs and i am sitting here with phenom x3 720 with another friend using i7. So i guess that might not be quad-core problem but something else.

What the $^#% so the game plays at intel i5? dual core and us? AMD users getting all the errors :(

I think it's definitely an AMD issue, because the first two times the game crashed I got an AMD error.

But gdi. I'm doing the boss battle in the prologue and something about the cut scene afterwards triggers the crash. The first time I got as far as the elf telling me that Cassandra's looking for me; every subsequent time after that, it crashed progressively earlier. I tried skipping the cutscene after the boss battle but that just got me a CTD without any form of error message at all.  :(

This is why people should read the min specs...

New AMD driver just released for DAI and Far Cry 4: http://support.amd.c...leaseNotes.aspx

I updated it, but it did not work for me. Running a dual-core.

Some user error messages would be really nice ... like "Can't run game. Processor does not meet minimum requirements."

just went to this web site, after posting3 posts up, #85, and it told me that I have no problems running DA3.   My pc is 4 years old.

http://www.systemreq...ntslab.com/cyri

I am sure there are a lot of you that have a better maching than I do.

It says that I have an Intel Corei7-2600CPU @ 3.40GHz

My CPU speed is 3.4 GHz

My video card is a GeForce GTX 750 with required shader 4.0, and I have 5.0, vertex shader required 4.0 and I have 5.0, dedicated video RAM 512 MB and I have 2.0 GB

The minimun ram is 4 GB and I have 8.2 GB

My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit

Minimum free disk space is 26 GB and I have 815.0 GB

Try out this site, for it also give recommendiation for upgrades if you need it. Hope this helps everyone.

@Kestral: it will definitely run on your machine, but the 2gb VRAM is going to hold back your graphics performance a lot. You will likely have to turn texture detail down, shadows down, and AA off to get a decent frame rate.

Thanks for the reply Darkly Tranquil. I preordered the game for both pc and xbox one, because I did not know if my older machine could run it or not. I can play Skyrim on it with no problem, running 110 mods, and no ctd's, so I figured I could run DA3.

Thanks again.

Based on your hardware, and all the technical issues with the PC version, Xbone will probably give you better performance overall. My PC can run DAI pretty comfortably, but I am probably going to go for PS4 just to save hassles with DRM, Denuvo, wonky controls, and other PC related issues.

I had major issues... as bad or worse than many people have posted here.

Repair in origin and smooth sailing since.

Man, I have the same CPU as you (PII X3 720) and am having the same black screen after auto-save problem.

All specs meet minimum except the CPU. (I've checked Task Manager and CPU useage is at ~70% total so it's not even maxing out the processes)

By fixed you mean BioWare buying you a quad core pc? Cause that's your only solution.

Don't people look at the minimum required specs anymore nowadays and then just blame it on the devs? They clearly say you need a quad core pc.

There's no way in hell this game needs a quad-core to the point of it not even getting to the main menu without one. There's an artificial check somewhere.

Yeah lets argue the requirements just for the hell of it.

As long as you're on a dual core pc and this game isn't working, you really don't have a leg to stand on. You already bought the game on a gamble.

(not saying dual core causes this particular bug btw, but it appears at least partially the problem)
