So, basically what the title says. I have a R290 updated to the latest beta drivers, but when I enter the game I can't select Mantle as the Graphics API. Am I missing something? :/

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to say I made a reinstallation cycle on the drivers and it fixed the issue. To enjoy the game now!!!

This was not playtested sigh.. how this was not picked up by AMD no idea... 280X same thing with official WHQL Drivers (Mantle is part of the Driver API)

Mantle works, you guys need to do a clean unnistall.

 

1º unnistall your drivers

2º use ccleaner

3º install new driver*

 

*in my case, only worked for beta

yeah, i had the same problem but it can only be resolved with clean install (go to control panel/programs and features/amd catalyst install manager. there you select uninstall ALL amd software. when it is over and it asks for reboot, i usually decline and delete everything with driver sweeper but that might be redundant, it's just a habit for me). restars your pc, install new drivers, restart again and it should be enabled. also, if you just install new drivers, you can check which drivers version you have in catalyst control center. you will see the new version is not installed because only the clean install will do that. good luck!

Thanks fellas, was just about to give up !!!...   Still, not happy I've spent my first hour on a $70 game uninstalling, reinstalling drivers a few times...

Use the new beta driver. It has specific DAI stuff.

Dammit, now I have to update the driver again.

Something is definitely broken with the Mantle API implementation for some number of configurations. 
 

Specs: Win7 64bit

Intel Core i7 2700k

DP67BG Mainboard

16 GB (4x4) Corsair CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9

Dual XFX AMD Radeon 6970 (2 GB) in CrossFireX

All bios settings, etc are stock.

I have uninstalled all AMD drivers now 3 times. This last time I ran driver sweeper 3 times - once after uninstall, again after restart to safemode, and again just for good measure before installing.

Running the latest BETA drivers specifically released for DAI - AMD-Catalyst-14.11.2Beta-64Bit-Win8.1-Win7-Nov18

Have tried swapping from fullscreen to windowed fullscreen to windowed.

I have tried disabling my second monitor. Have tried disabling crossfire.
 

I STILL cannot get the game to allow me to select MANTLE. It still shows the lock icon and is on D3D11.

What now?
