Alrighty Nvidia people, here's 344.75 despite Nvidia's lack of desire to release it: http://forums.guru3d...732#post4961732

Just checked it out, game runs much smoother for me. Still hitches a little every now and again but it's way way more consistent after all the assets get populated on the first load of the Hinterlands.

Looks like the driver has started being pushed through Nvidia's proper channels now as well.

I have this weird problem where the game runs fine, but it hangs constantly in the menu. Anyone else facing this?

i5 750 with a GTX 760 and 6 GB RAM.

I had this issue so bad I couldn't even get to the game. To click on anything in the menu took 5 to 30 seconds of waiting before anything loaded. I spent over an hour just trying to get the game to load and get to creating a character. Anyone else have this issue? Anyone know if theres a fix? I don't think its my hardware and I already updated drivers.

I7

GTX 660 Ti

16gb RAM

Neither my CPU nor my Graphis Card are present there in the graph. I have an AMD A10 and a HD8970. I assume that would be between the green and the dark green.
Nevertheless, I've been trying to play the game for the last 4 hours with zero success. I can barely get past the title screen without having the game freezing.
I assume it is more due to a bug than my configuration.

Hi. I dont know really if i can buy the game.I don't understand much about computers so i hope you could help me.

AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon™ Hd Graphics (4 CPus) 1.9 GHZ (the game needs at least 2.5 GHZ)

8 GB AM

AMD Radeon HD 7640G + HD 8600M Dual

If i understand correctly my pc its a quad core, then it should work. I'm not really sure about the CPU speed requirement (GHz).Games with higher requirements work fine for me but i'm not really sure about this one.I don't really care about ultra graphics. Whit this PC, it would have a "decent" performance?

My specs on a laptop are on the previous page. I'm running it decently on medium settings (mesh on high) with a cpu that's only 1.73 Ghz..... and a 460m graphics card. Am going to update drivers tonight to see if that helps with some stuttering since that seems really common.

Am not having issues with overheating (actually runs cooler than da2... weird). Any audio issues. Or freezing. Just long loads...stuttering and frame rate drops...... could run smoother (no issues during battle ams all the effects. ..weird) .... but it still runs pretty decently to me for what my system is.

@spacev3gan

A10 is a pretty solid apu and i take it you have hybrid crossfire with it and your 8970 which is a rebranded 7970 for OEM's. SO pre built pc, it will be fine you should be able to run it well.

Update your drivers

Running

Intel i5-3570 @ 3.4G

AMD HD 7800

32 GB Ram

I was playing fine from 2:30 EST to 6:30 EST.  I finished breakfasst and want to play more.  Evey action was stalling and taking several section to make a turn. Since everything was working, could it be that the servers are swamped?

Do occasional restarts of the games, might be a memory leak. Origins still has one and has not been fixed.

Well Nvidia's new drivers let my laptop run the game at high settings at between 40-60 FPS. Plenty playable for me.

However there's still one large issue. The game still stutters... A lot.

Edit: Just crashed on me.

I wonder if the stuttering is due to a CPU bottleneck?

One thing is for sure: it's not a GPU limitation.

If this is true for those of us with i5/i7/AMD FX CPUs, then there's a serious problem with the game.

It honestly sounds like a CPU bottleneck more than anything to me.

I guess we'll find out soon. There's supposedly a performance patch on the way for all platforms.

i7 3770k and R9 270X here, and I can't even play on Medium because the FPS is so low.  Glad to see BioWare still makes terribly optimized games!

i7-930, 8GB RAM. The worry was the HD 5770, but so far the game runs around 40fps on medium and about 20fps on ultra, though none of this was at 1080p. Still, for those of you out there concerned that a GPU like mine will kill the game for you - it won't. Looks great.

GTX 480

Intel Q9550

4GB RAM

Running at mostly high settings and smooth as butter. Very surprised. The key things I turned down to medium were shadows and processing effects. Before I turned those down it was very stuttery, but with those on medium it runs very well. I am quite happy with it, I bought it half expecting to use Origin's 24 hour refund option when it didn't run well on medium. Getting high settings in most categories is very nice indeed.

Q9400, 8GB ram, R9 270x. Can't play with stable fps on high and medium, no comments on Ultra. I'm installed last AMD Beta drivers too (14.11.2). Any suggestions?

Running the game in DX11 on default Ultra setting under graphics I get 72 average and 56 minimum FPS with the internal benchmark test under Extras.  Resolution set to 2560x1440.  It is very smooth no issues. If I go into Graphics and set all settings to the far right maximum settings for everything I get 54.6 average and 44.4 minimum FPS which is not bad if that internal benchmark is the game at its highest stress level.

Game is installed on SanDisk Extreme Pro SSD quick list applicable system specs.  Monitor Asus PB278Q max res 2560x1440.

i7 5960X @ 4Ghz with 16GB Quad Channel DDR4 2800 RAM, Asus Rampage V Extreme MB

2 Asus R290X DCII OC cards they run at 1050MHz overclock DDR5 RAM at 5400 overclock set in Crossfire of course.

Catalyst driver version 14.11.2 beta released today.

If I try and use the Mantle API though I get long freezes followed by the graphics speeding up for a few seconds after like it gets stuck then plays catch up.  Not sure if this is a driver issue or what.  Maybe Mantle is not working well with Crossfire, I will have to disable Crossfire and try Mantle again to see if that's it.  Right now though I'll stick with DX11 as that seems smooth as butter.

Was anyone able to run it with similar rig ?
(amd athlon x3 440 3,1ghz / 4gb RAM / 650 GTX)

I preordered the game cuz all the uber-super-pro tech guru's laughed at the 4 core req...the game has 1,5 hrs to arrive at max and i just cant wait to see if i wasted my bucks or not?

Looks like I'm flipping with you on the cpu gpu spectrum. I be running 2x 980s with a 5820K @4.5 with 2400 DDR4 RAM on a Samsung 840 Pro 512 GB in raid 0 on a QNIX QX320QHD Super Ultra 32" 1440 QHD AH-VA monitor. Will post results as soon as I can.

My game keeps causing my entire rig to shut down and restart, and I have no idea why -- does anyone have any idea why this would be happening, or is this happening to anyone else? It's new and only a month old so I can't imagine any parts have already worn down. I can't run it on any settings at all (low medium or high) without it restarting my entire PC. I've never had this issue with any games on Steam where I can run them all on Ultra mode at a clean and easy 60 fps. Now the furthest I've gotten without the game crashing is to the character creation screen.

I'm running it on an i5 4430 @ 3 GHz, 4 GB ram, GTX 750 Ti, Win 7. My CPU is definitely not over heating (SpeedFan says it doesn't get higher than 35C before the crash typically happens) and neither does my GPU. I've already installed the new NVIDIA driver and it hasn't made any difference. Could this be an issue with the game? I just can't figure out what to do, or if there is anything I can do.

@UniformGreyColor

You should be getting better than me based on your CPU overclock (much easier to OC 4 cores over 8 cores to 4.5GHz) and GPU's being the new current kings.  I've had my R290X cards for a while now, bought one in December and just got a second one because the price had fell down to $350 with $40 rebate and also AMD had a big game bundle you could get free with a R9290X card.  :)

I can OC my video cards up to 1115 core but they run hotter than I like when i do that so I only do that for those bigger benchmark numbers.  :P Same with my CPU I can get it up to 4.5Ghz as well with the 8 core 5960X but it runs pretty hot at that speed and not super stable.  Getting the 5960X to 4Ghz is really easy without even changing any power settings and it runs as cool at that speed as my older 3930K 6 core cpu did at stock speed.
