Just bought the game and tested it out on Ultra but disabled MSAA. Totally fluid at 1080p but I do have stuttering in video sequences. I'm pleasantly surprised actually at how good it played.

Asus Z97-A motherboard

i5 4690K @ 4.6GHz

16gb RAM

MSI GTX770 Gaming

Game installed on an SSD

I am getting terrible stuttering as well, my setup should in theory be able to run everything on ultra but I get bad fps drops even on HIGH with MSAA off and HBAO low. I have disabled origin overlay and I have the newest beta drivers (clean install), I feel my performance is WORSE with mantle? As some one said above, it completely is ruining my immersion.

r9 290 4gb powercolor
i5 2500k

8gb ram

I know people with a similiar setup are getting better performance than me, I am not sure why.

So... this is the first day of the EU release and I thought I'D share some hope for people.

I am currently running this specs:

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE

Card: GTX 660Ti

Ram: 8GB

I have not experienced any problems yet. Everything runs smooth. I really don't care about framerates that much as long as it looks fluid and good. The gameplay looks way better than the cutscenes, so I guess the FPS are higher than 30 FPS.

Everything is set on high, except I turned off the MSAA.

Maybe it has to do with me updating to the newest NVidia driver and disabling the Origin overlay from the start... I don't know. Maybe it is because I have been running Battlefield 4 nearly maxed out for a year and some engine stuff is shared...

I am honestly no geek with all the technical weirdness but I wanted to let people know that it is possible to run this game smoothly even with an older rig.

I told you one site earlier the stuttering is caused by the variable Framerate with enable Vsync between 30 and 60 Fps where it doesnt cap the Framerate so the Game is stuttering. Im not sure if the will ever fix this except implement a fixed Default Vsync and some optimisations specially for Npc and the Meshes and the CPU Spikes. For now use Framecap Tools like Dxtory, capped above 30 isnt the best but still more fluid as with this variable crap.

Heya everyone. I don't know if this has been posted already, but for anyone that is still encountering cutscene stuttering (not the 30fps frame rate lock) try lowering the Post processing effect setting in game. Going from Ultra to High got rid of the cutscene stuttering completely for me, and I honestly didn't really notice much difference in graphics quality. My guess is that there is some optimization issue with the depth of field used in cutscenes.

I have used fraps and also command line I game..
Perfoverlay.drawfps 1

According to the readme, using FRAPS (or any programme with an overlay, including presumably Bandicam) is not advised because it causes freezing and lag.
So if I want to see my FPS, I just type that into the console? Do I need to enable it or is it automatically enabled?

GTX 660Ti

i5 3770k

16 GByte

My graphics are fine and the frame rate is butter smooth with no stutter or tearing. No problems with the cut scenes. I do have the very latest NVidia driver.

I run at 2560 x 1440.

How good does this game look on low settings compared to medium or high settings? Running 4GB ram, 9660 overclocked to 3.2 and nvidia 570.  Both show light green but I am stuttering pretty good on Medium settings. Considering upgrading to 8GB and 970 video card but not sure it is worth it at this point in my machines life.

So I posted in here many pages ago, but I'll post again just for the heck of it.

i5-2310 2.9ghz sandy bridge quad core

EVGA GTX 970 SC ACX 2.0 - Currently further OC'd to 1350 mhz though I've gotten it up to 1700 mhz before

8GB 1333 Mhz

1TB 7200 RPM

Corsair GS 700 Watt

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit

With the above I'm getting consistently adequate framerate on ultra settings @ 1080P on both multiplayer and story mode. I don't know my exact frame rate as I rarely use Fraps, but it's very phenomenal, easily 45+ (I know what low FPS looks like).

Everything maxed except MSAA OFF: 55-60 FPS, MSAA 2x: 45-60 FPS, MSAA 4x: 38-60 FPS.

Something needs to be done with that MSAA or also add an option for SMAA.

CPU: Intel i7 4790k 4 GHz

RAM: 12 GB DDR3 1600 MHz

VGA: ASUS STRIX GTX 970 4 GB

OS Windows 8.1 Pro X64

Res: 1920x1080

Can you force a different type of AA through the Nvidia control centre?

Sitting on

i7-3930 3.20GHz

GTX Titan

16GB RAM

Win7

With SMAA off and everything else on max I'm averaging on anything between 30 - 60 FPS depending on where I am and what I look at; having SMAA on makes my FPS dip to as low as 24 occasionally. Especially in the Hinterlands the FPS like to change *a lot* depending on what's in my view, during the prologue it stayed above 50 for the most part.

Can you force a different type of AA through the Nvidia control centre?

Well I could but there is no reason to force FXAA or Transparency AA - FXAA is already applied in-game as Post-Process AA. I tried SMAA with a sweetfx injector but does not seem to work (well).

Will try MFAA (basically MSAA with half sample rate) and see how it works.

Anyway I will keep AA off until nVidia releases a new driver.

So am I the only one blaming Denuvo?Because the game was being developed for 3.5 years,I think.Even more because someone said that they were working on this even while they were working on DA:Origins.Game was pushed back a couple times, they said it was to "polish" the game,or mb put Denuvo in?

Mine is barely running at 15 FPS. I do not understand.

Setup:

GeForce GT 750M

i7-4800MQ CPU @ 2.70GHz

8.00 GB RAM

I've updated all the drivers, and it still chugs at the lowest possible settings... Help??

Make sure GT 750M is used when playing DA:I maybe the driver does not switch from the IGP.

Q9650 @3.6Ghz

4GB RAM DDR800

GTX 580 with nVidia latest drivers

All settings High, SSAO, FXAA medium, no MSAA, Tessellation OFF, 1080p

I'm getting between 40 - 60 fps, with occasional stuttering. Most impressive for such an old rig.

The worst part are the extremely long loading times, maybe due to the amount of RAM. Other than that, I'm happy with the performance. No crashes so far.

This.. You need to select it manually otherwise it will default to the igp.

i7 4770

16gb ram

GTX 770 2gb (most recent drivers released yesterday)

SSD

I've played for about 11 hours. Using the "ultra" preset, I'm getting 45-50 fps easy. Not a single crash so far.

It's not just a problem with nvidia.
