Do a clean install of your Radeon drivers. That might help.
No luck. What driver ver are you using?

Getting decent fps on Ultra but those loading times are something awful.
Yeah. I noticed that too, and I have a RAID 0 system. Cannot fathom on a normal single HDD how long loading times are. I suspect this has, in fact, something to do with Denuvo and the crypting/decrypting.
How does SLI fare? I've heard that Crossfire will work no issue and out of the box, but is SLI not supported?

Doubtful. NFS Rivals and BF4 also had long loading times - this is most likely a FB3 issue.

Maybe it's time you bought an SSD.

I created a DA:I profile using Nvidia Inspector taking Battlefield 4 as reference and it seems to work decently. I didn't try without sincerely but with it my GTX 295 (that is quite old) can run the game on high.

SLI has some bugs - it causes your face to disappear leaving only hair or so I hear.
I'm terrible when nowing if i'm capble of playing the game, but i believe i can play in Ultra settings with no rpoblems. Unless the DMR from denuvo screws it up.

SLI 970's here and works a charm. Custom settings with everything manually at ultra and 2x MSAA benchmark gives an avg of around 55 frames at 2560x1600. There is some graphical issues atm but I expect them to be ironed out when we get updated drivers and Day 0 patch.
Updated the OP with some handy graphs.
According to the graphs I'll be fine, only thing letting me 'down' is the RAM, I only have 4GB of it, rest sits firmly in the green area's. Also have A Raedon GPU, those seem to be performing best all around if i only look at the graphs. I do run with following specs, maybe someone out here has a bit like it and already playing the game, I would appreciate it if you could tel me how the game performs. (have to wait till 21th before being able to play it)
i7 2600 3.4 GHz CPU
4 GB RAM
AMD Radeon R9 200 Series GPU
plenty of HD space left.
Have a monitor with 1680 - 1050 resolution.
Mine is running like a charm. I click the "Dragon Age Inquistion" icon and I immediately I get the Origin "UNRELEASED TITLE ... blah, blah ... cannot yet be played".
No stuttering! No CTD! No slowness whatsoever! it's running terrific for me!
No luck. What driver ver are you using?
I use the latest beta drivers.

If only I had enough money to afford it
. Besides FB3 games (and StarCraft 2) I didn't had problems with loading times anyway, so it is not a priority (CPU and GPU first).
Except for GPU (yellow), everything is good to go, yet... ![]()

I'm planning to upgrade to 2x970 very soon so that is great news. Do you know how it runs on a single 970 for comparison sake?

The thread isn't meant for evaluating specs, but I will say your rig looks fine to me, except for the RAM.
I'm running DA:I on my laptop. For reference, the GPU is a GeForce GTX 760M 2GB and the CPU a i7-4700HQ @2.40GHz. The benchmark yields an average of 20 fps. Bad doesn't begin to cover it. ![]()

Disabled SLI and gave the same settings a whirl, went from around 55 down to around 30. So realistically it should handle ultra reasonably well at 1080 but doesn't do well at 1600.
I'm yellow/green/green (gpu/cpu/ram) but my max res is 1024x768 so i should be able to go close to ultra.
Everything works fine here, i get 50/60 fos, when i play, but all the cutscenes are locked at 30 fps because of the animations.
Kinda sad D:, but the engine work great! fluid as silk.
I7 and 780ti , windows 8.1

Yes, it's been confirmed that cutscens are locked to 30fps. It's apparently a Frostbite limitation.

K that's good news, thanks.

Excellent.. What CPU are you using??
I figure once there are some new drivers, a dedicated SLI profile and some upcoming patches, it should stabilize gameplay and might even up the FPS a fair bit.
I figure SLI 970 should be able to get 60-70FPS at LEAST @ 1440p.

I assume this is with everything on lowest settings?

I know, but I couldn't keep my curiosity in check
. will try harder next time ![]()
Thanks for the reply though, it's appreciated.
