I assume this is with everything on lowest settings?
No. Some settings are on ultra, others on high, some on medium. I ran it with the default settings.

I'm planning to upgrade to 2x970 very soon so that is great news. Do you know how it runs on a single 970 for comparison sake?
Ran it for a few on a i7-2700k and gigabyte gtx 970.
On ultra benchmark put me and ~50fps average and 40 low. Lowered some settings slightly and got a solid 60fps during my hour of playing.
Also my male pc keeps on getting referred to as 'her' and 'she'. Silly Bioware.
Well according to the graphs in the OP everything for me is in dark green so i am good to go. Now to wait till the 21st.
Hello, I have GTX 660 and i5 4440 CPU, which is all around the green-dark green area.
Which Anti-Aliasing do people who understand hardware recommend for best mix of solid preformance/solid graphics?
Thanks.

I don't beleive your framerate will be too good if you use anything other than FXAA.. but that's just my opinion.
If the texture quality is decent then AA can be avoided. MSAA is generally better but it takes quite a bit of performance. My advice would be only go for it if you performance to spare. But I personally sacrifice AA as the first thing for performance.
Ok so help me out here.I'm in light green in all areas on the graph and i'm extremely close to the recommended specs.
Was messing with graphics options and noticed that switching through the presets that FPS were barely changing.
From high to medium i barely saw a difference in FPS(was getting the same most of the time)
From medium to low i gained 10 FPS max.
There must be something wrong if i can barely surpass 30 fps on medium with this rig.
Anyone know if this is a driver issue? Some kind of patching needed?
Playing on medium quality and so far the only problem I have is beards..... Cullen looks like a teenager who just tried shaving for the first time today..... ugh.
This thread has me so worried, I might try it out then return it and buy it on Xbox One instead.

What rig would that be? Its tough to say if you don't post your gear..
i5-3570
GTX 650 Ti Boost
8gb RAM
1920x1080 resolution
Everything's on high except for Mesh(Ultra), Tesselation(medium), Post-process quality(low), Post-process level(High), Ambient(off),Effects(Ultra), and Multisampling(off).
I think I'm getting an estimate of 50-60fps while exploring and in battle but it dips to 25-30fps during cutscenes.
DAI was crashing at first but when I tried the settings above, the crashing was gone.

The cutscene dips are normal since all cutscenes are locked to 30fps internally. This is believed to be related to the Frostbite engine.

I avoided posting it cause it seemed people didn't wanna make this a "can i run it" thread but i guess there's no avoiding it.
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q9450 2.66GHz
GPU:Radeon HD 6950 2Gb
RAM:8 Gb(ddr2)
1440x900 reso
Effects i take it is for spell effects and stuff? If so im turning mine way down.

Without an overclock, that CPU is limited. I can see this being an issue for this game as it seems like it needs a good deal of CPU/GPU power.
Even though you're playing at a lower resolution, your framerate for your hardware seems about right. It may improve though with updated drivers and/or a patch.
Anyone figured out what the difference between "Ultra" texture quality and "Fade Touched" is?
Also I'm on SLI 670 and it stutters every few seconds like crazy in game, and stable around 75FPS at 1920x1200 - with everything maxed except no AA. But when SLI is disabled i get no stuttering except for the cut-scenes and average 35 to 45 fps. So am really wanting Nvidia to release the updated drivers.

If you're running the game then posting your specs is useful.
Yup, this.

That's really cool. I have GTX 660, so I guess it'll run even better on similar settings.
As to cutscenes, they're reportedly locked at 30 fps.
PC preload is live?

It's true that my CPU is weak for today's standards, but does it really bring down the performance that much by itself?I've played other recent games aswell with no real issues(one of them being Shadow of Mordor on high with 50+ fps).
Plus the chart shows that the CPU should be enough.Acording to specs i should be running med-high at 45fps+
Also was running Battlefield on high with 40+fps.
I really hope the drivers will make a difference for me.
Thank you for your input.I really appreciate the help.
PC preload is live?
Yes it is.
For me (Netherlands) at least.
With the PC preload live and people already playing the game at the time of this writing, I figured there would be many questions and comments concerning the game's performance on the different setups and builds. For this reason, I decided to start a thread that keeps of all this discussion in one place for the sake of simplicity.
Do note that this thread is not meant for asking whether your current build can run the game; it's for those already playing to discuss and talk about how it performs on their respective systems. Also, ABSOLUTELY NO SPOILERS are allowed here. If you must post a spoiler, please use a spoiler tag.
I hope this place serves everyone well. Have at it!
UPDATE: A German website has a compiled a nice set of graphs showing how the game fares with each individual GPU and CPU (along with RAM amount). To help give a general idea of how your components should perform, I have included these here as follows:
1. GPU
2. CPU
3. RAM
* Legend:-
Gray: Technically impossible
Red: Possible but with great performance hit
Yellow: Best with Medium settings (assuming 1080p resolution)
Light green: Best with High settings (1080p)
Dark green: Best with Ultra settings (1080p)
Thank you for this very helpful post! ![]()
I've got:
i7 4770K @ 4.2GHz
2x 290X Crossfire
16GB RAM
Hoping to be able to play at 2560x1600 at High/Ultra with some AA. I'm willing to sacrifice some shadow quality and ambient occlusion if needed.
