Anyone have any idea what is causing low FPS during conversations? I'll be holding near 60 and then cut scene - boom 30 fps. The troubleshooting is damn terrible in this game cause every minor change requires a restart. Any idea what setting could be tied to the drops during cut scenes?
The drivers hopefully will settle things.Or maybe an update.
Do you people aslo get the occasional stutter every now and then randomly?

It has been stated that cutscenes are locked at 30fps

All cutscenes and conversations are locked to 30fps.
Said to be a Frostbite limitation.

It's sitting on each load screen for maybe 5 minutes and when I got to the cc it was so laggy it was virtually unplayable and when it launched the actual game the graphics wouldn't even load properly. So gutted.
That's shitty. I wonder if I can play it then either.
It might be due to the new DRM for the game, Denuvo, which I heard uses quite a bit of unnecessary power. That means if a computer is scraping the bottom of the barrel, and can usually play (abeit low settings) under normal circumstances, might dip lower and fail, because of the performance hits.
I'm having trouble with all my screenshot programs, has anyone had any success? Fraps worked for awhile but now it's useless for some reason.
edit. Nevermind. MSI seems to work, for now.

its been confirmed that cutscenes are locked at 30 fps so it acutally syncs with dialogue

Does that explain the massive stuttering and screen tearing during cutscenes that I am experiencing?

That's a different issue which is to be fixed through a day one patch tomorrow.

I am not sure I cant play the game for another 8 hours and I have no idea what your comp is like and what programs you are running
Guys I have:
Intel i7 4710 HQ @2.5 Ghz
8GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M 4GB graphics
Can I play on Ultra?
Apologies if someone already asked this.

Ok. Good to know. I am running it at the moment on i7 4790k, 16 GB DDR3 2400, GTX 970 Gaming edition.

Hey guys.i opened task manager while running the game.Is it normal that it uses 2gb of memory in the "processes" tab and that the CPU usage is at 80%?
Cause i haven't seen numbers like that before there.
does this game do 2x MSAA ?
Based on benchmark I am worried about my FPS I do however use a lower res then 1080p.(I use 900p) but worried about my GTX 750 ti SC card. I want atleast 30 FPS with ultra settings.

Those specs are quite low, so I'm pretty sure you cannot run the game. :/
Why on earth are the cutscenes locked to 30 fps??? It makes things feel so choppy and also messes up vysnc and gives me major screen tearing.
There any fix for this?

Based on the above graphs I would say that you may be close (due to lower res). I wouldn't expect too much though from a 750 at Ultra..

Yeah that's normal, moreso with a lower end cpu.

It does 2x MSAA.
I hope NVIDIA releases some drivers soon.
Currently using this rig:
AMD Phenom II 830 Quad Core Processor 2.8ghz
8 gb Ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 OC 2GB
Was able to run the game at full 1080p, with a mix of low/medium/high/ultra settings. Turned off MSAA and if I recall correctly post processing is set to low. Meshes/Textures are set to high, and special effects are set to ultra. AA on low. I have not actually checked my fps, but it ran rather smoothly 90% of the time. I would get minor stutters in the hinterland areas from time to time depending on where I was and how many npcs were on the screen. No doubt my processor is to blame mostly I suppose, but it runs pretty good considering my setup and I did not have to really sacrifice much quality. Played for 4 hours without a single crash, so far so good on that front.

It does 2x MSAA.
thanks then I am confident I can run it ultra at 900p and 2x MSAA with decent FPS
