It is not working with the current stable drive?
Well, I did what I always do and it didn't work, but perhaps it was my fault. I'd to use the beta for mantle to show up.

Is there any timetable for when Nvidia and AMD are going to release updated drivers other than "relatively soon"?
Guys I have:
Intel i7 4710 HQ @2.5 Ghz
8GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M 4GB graphics
Can I play on Ultra?
Apologies if someone already asked this.
I rly doubt it, if you are planning to play at 1080 id prob say medium with no aa
For people concerned about processor usage being high, thats likely frostbite eating it up (pun intended), I know that playing bf4 quite a bit, most of the power in the engine comes from the processor and less so for the graphics card. I wouldn't be concerned.
AMD driver is up. http://support.amd.c...leaseNotes.aspx
Highlights of AMD Catalyst™ 14.11.2 Windows® Beta Driver Performance Improvements

They just released them now.
Hopefully Nvidia isn't far behind...

Wait, Nvidia did too?
Wait, Nvidia did too?
Nah, sorry, just AMD as far as I know.
I get a smooth 60 FPS on max settings yet for no reason I randomly get a FPS dip to 45-50 fps. The game will freeze for a fraction of a second then it will resume at about 45 fps then shoot back up to 60. Absolutely nothing will be happening on screen and it happens. I just stand there watching my frame counter praying that it magically stops then it dips again.
Also, does anyone else have a HUGE problem with the benchmark? My benchmark plays way too fast with no audio until the very end. I've tried it twice and the loading screen takes forever, then I see some guards pop in with the rest of the environment, some guy has a bow then a demon appears then it stops. It's pretty comical really.
So I have spent an hour checking out the game. These are my observations.
SLI is working but there is flickering shadows and foliage. I was able to eliminate the flickering entirely by lowering "Vegetation" down to "high" (it was at Ultra) and turning off Ambient Occlusion. The game looks perfect now.
I do not experience stuttering (except when scenes transition between gameplay and cutscene for a split second). The performance is actually wonderful considering I am running at 3440x1440. The game does support ultrawide resolutions.
Cutscenes do not lag for me and stay at 30fps solid (still wish that they were not locked at 30 considering they are in-game engine rendered in realtime).
Overall, this game is wonderfully optimized compared the disaster that Assassin's Creed Unity was. I am thrilled and cannot wait to dive in now that I have all of the issues (so far) sorted out.
PC Specs:
i7-4830k @4.5Ghz
2x780GTX SLI
32GB RAM
2xSamsung EVO 840 RAID-0
For those looking for a potential solution/workaround for the 30 fps cutscences...

We lock framerate to 30 in cutscenes We had issues with the scenes desyncing without the lock Hoping to remove the restriction
looking for an official solution but try this: http://www.reddit.com/r/dragonage/comments/2mm319/dragon_age_inquisition_30fps_cutscene_framerate/ … Hooray for community!

I was gonna say, looking at his rig my face was just making all sorts of funny shapes.
Laptop
GTX 770m
i7 (not sure which one at this point, assume the shittiest)
12gb RAM
well over 100gb+ free space on hard disk
Playing on medium settings
Massive amount of stuttering, lower than expected fps (avg. 44 fps). Can anyone advice me on this?
Trying to see if I should upgrade my rig. Do you guys think I'll need to to play on high/ultra?
I've currently got one of these http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130948
With 16GB DDR3 ram and an i7-2600K @ 3.4GHZ.
Should I just buy another GTX 770 4GB and SLI it? Or get a new card all over again (I just bought this one last year).

The game is a trainwreck for me. Playable but on low settings with resolution turned down to 60. Vsync off, Mesh is on high.
I7 4500 @ 1.80 GHz
Geforce 745m
8 GB Ram
Jade Empire looks nicer than this game right now lmfao. But I think my computer was just having a spaz attack like it often does. I'm restarting and will report back with how it goes.
Continuing without any crashes or fps issues for the most part. I only ever get slight stutters when in very crowded villages such as redcliffe. Other than that it is smooth as butter.
Excellent, I can run DAI on Ultra.

Thought I'd check in here for help.

I've got:
GTX 760Intel® Core2 Quad CPU Q94006GB RAMWhile that's not the best, so far it's been running the game smooth as butter on High.... until I got to Haven. Now I get like 10FPS.I assume it has something to do with the fact that there are NPCs crowded everywhere, since everything was running fine before that area.
Does anyone have ideas on how to get around this issue? Or do I just need to try and slog through it?
Turn down your graphics.
So I disabled fraps and MSI Afterburner and my frame rate dips disappeared completely. I restarted afterburner after I started DA:I and no more dips occurred. Now getting a constant 60 fps! Very strange though.

the texture settings got one more option after ultra!
