I did switch to gamepad but it's not working. Now i cannot use keyboard & mouse as well. Any ideas?

how did u enable your gamepad? can't seem to make mine work.

It's in the options menu under controls I believe. I'd check, but as previously mentioned... I cannot.

Is your controller wireless or wired. It only recognises my wired one (which sucks).

Wireless here. 

 

EDIT: I just plugged in an old wired controller and had the same issue.

I have a wired 360 gamepad, was playing skyrim with it with no problems... dragon age finally unlocks and here i am unable to play. boo.

As mentioned in another post, delete the two ProfileOptions files in Documents >> Bioware >> DA:I >> Save. Hope it helps!

No you can use the controller, I have to use because I cant play using WASD and mouse 4/5 isn't bindable.  Basically plug in your controller if it isn't already, then you have to exit the game completely, then relaunch Origin and DAI then the gamepad choice will be unlocked and you can select.  Then if you want to go back to KBM you have to repeat the process, can't seem to change it on the fly mid-game.
