Yeah, pretty much this. Make the eyes smaller, and the chin narrower. Widen the cheekbones a tiny bit. Also, the distance between the nose and mouth looks too long - I would bring his nose down a bit.
Edit: Just some constructive criticism since you asked for it. Hope I didn't come across as rude. He really doesn't look that bad - just needs a bit of tweaking. Just keep practicing

Hm, I guess it depends on what look you want him to have? He's not ugly, but it sounds like you're not happy with him.
Some suggestions (you don't have to do these - just my own preferences):
- move the nose a bit closer to the mouth, whether that means adjusting the mouth's height or the nose's height.
- if you adjust the mouth higher, make sure to decrease the length of the chin or else you have Jay Leno.
- Narrow the chin a bit. Instead, widen the jaw bones.
- Give the eyes a little tilt in the outer corners if you can. Elves have that "feline" look about them that I find attractive.
- I would consider a different hairstyle. Something with a little more framing around the face. He has a big forehead and a long face, so when there's no hair to frame it, sometimes that makes one look awkwardly horse-faced.
