Just checked out the available romance options for my inquisitor.
Extremely disappointing!
Why are there so many male romance options and hardly any female ones?
There are only 3 female romance options, one of which is only interested in women (and she is the only good looking one).
But there are 5 male romance options (one of which is only interested in men).
Seems a bit unfair to me. Anyone else sorely disappointed with this?

That boat sailed.......................
Seriously , you can :
1) Accept what you are given
2) Don't play the game
3) Cheer for the game is coming out very very soon !
You are given the same choice as everyone . SAME NUMBErs as everyone else !

Straight guys get as many romances as they have always had. Two. Nothing has been lost. And if you like Sera then just play a female inquisitor for her.

Short answer? Yes, people have expressed disappointment with this over the past two months or so.
Longer answer? There are two available romances for straight male PCs, gay male PCs, lesbian PCs, and straight female dwarf and qunari PCs. The only ones that get more than two options are straight human female PCS (three options) and straight elf female PCs (four options). Is it a bit skewed? Yes. Is it as bad as people make it out to be? Not really.

Or romance a dude.
As a straight guy myself I can confirm I have lost no straightness after romancing men in my bioware games.

There is only 3 female companions compared to 6 male companions. Maybe if BW would wrote more female characters there would be more them to romance as well.

Well, to be fair, some were. I think I even complained a bit for the first day after the announcement. Then I calmed down and remembered that I had Iron Bull and Dorian still and it all seemed better.

No. I'm not disappointed. And you shouldn't be either. BioWare have worked really hard to give us 8 romance options. You should be grateful you have 3 female options. They didn't have to do 3, but they have so count your lucky stars you have 1/3 more love potential.

Because they know their position. They know they will never get more options than the straight ones, confirmed by the developers. For straight males, it's the first time it happens, so it's understandable that people get freaked out. It's like suddenly find you don't get the usual preferential treatment.Gay guys and lesbians aren't complaining...

It's not the first time this has happened. They're just freaking out because it's more noticeable and the fanbase is less niche now.

Oh look, it's the daily straight boy entitlement thread.
Also, I don't get why all these guys want to bone Sera so badly. I think she's the least attractive of the three female LIs, from what I've seen so far, both in appearance and personality. I honestly think it's a wanting what you can't have thing.

Speak for yourself. I wanted to romance Sera way before her orientation was announced.
