In the Game itself it is possible that you can put Alistair as the King and both survive, the Hero with the Help of Morrigan.

This Setting is impossible in the Keep, no matter what possibility i choose one of them dies, is there any Special combination you must

do to make both survive ?

My Keep doesnt Import that desicions into the Keep idk why but i want that desicion that all People survive, it took me much hard work to make them all survive and happy and i want to start into Inqisition with my Story.

Companions section, set Morrigan as having an OGB. Should fix the problem.

Make sure to choose Morrigan having an Old-God Baby first(performing the Dark Ritual, last tile on the top-right in Companions), and lock it to ensure it doesn't change.... Then select Warden alive and well(hero section), Alistair king(Landsmeet), and Hero killed Archdemon...  In that order.

If a conflict comes up during that sequence, let us know...

Hello there,

so i have a Female Dalish Elf who is romanced with Leliana and when Morrigan comes to my room before the final battle against Archdemon I persuaded Alistair that he must have a baby with Morrigan so that we could both survive. Also i made him a king (not marrying him with Anora 'cause i don't like her) and when I choose at Keep that he killed Archdemon it pops up that Morrigan can not have a child with him and so that he must die against Archdemon.

So my question is this: WHY?

All I want is to show Ferelden that Alistair is a great king and when the next king of Ferelden kills the Archdemon and end the Blight that will help to boost in citizen eyes to the maximum level so that they must cheer for him that he is the great king who defends his own kingdom. I only want Alistair to believe in himself that he is a great choice for Ferelden and not Anora so I let him live, kill Loghain in a duel and made him hardened at the end of his Quest.

Sorry for my mistakes in this. I'm not so skillfull in English so please forgive me.

The reason why is simple:  The Warden kills the Archdemon if the Dark Ritual was performed...  There is no way around that.

If you want Alistair to kill the Archdemon, you have to accept that he dies.

Since you want Alistair to live and be king, choose "warden kills the archdemon."

First off, your English is fine and better than plenty of native speakers on the internet, so please don't worry about it.

Secondly, to clarify and give a bit more detail on the above answers, if you perform the Dark Ritual with Morrigan, the Warden will automatically take the killing blow. There is no conversation about it and no ability to choose someone else. As to why this was done; I don't know. Perhaps to make sure the Warden was the hero, perhaps for ease. I agree that it would be cool to still decide so Alistair or even Loghain could get the glory. But really the emotional weight was the requirement to sacrifice someone so they probably decided that without that sacrifice, the weight of the decision was gone.

On a Keep note, make sure you set that Morrigan had the Old God Baby first.

Apparently, even with having Morrigan as the lover and having an OGB, it won't even give me the option of having my hero survive the fight with the dragon. Just gives me three options: I die, Alistar dies, or Loghain dies....

I use to have the option that the Hero Survives, but it's gone now.

And why doesn't the Keep have a re-sync button? Thought it did...

Are you sure Morrigan has an OGB and not a human baby? That seems to be a common problem for reasons I do not understand. Also the options for the Battle of Denerim are for who kills the Archedemon, if you did the ritual then the Warden kills the Archedemon and he survives.

It still does, I think. I haven't tried it myself (far too tired of trying to  get the thing to sync properly!), but I've assumed it's the "Replay Startup" button.

Have you tried that?

That tile says who killed the Archdemon. It has nothing to do with them dying. Life of death is handled separately.

Hello.  I'm having issues making my world state match with one of my Dragon Age Origins save files, as well.  My warden was a mage and I romanced her with Alistair; he ended up being king and neither him or the Warden died after slaying the Archdemon.  It doesn't seem possible to take this into account in the world state.  :/

Have you tried locking the Dark Ritual tile first? That seems to fix a lot of these kinds of issues.

You must have persuaded Alistair to do the Dark Ritual with Morrigan, I would think.

Have you made sure the "Old God Baby" box is selected for Morrigan?

I'm redoing it now, so I made sure that I checked that one.  I think what I did wrong was that I thought that some of my choices remained the same from the previous world state I made.  Thanks for pointing that out; I feel kind of silly now lol.
