What's the correct way to connect the dots? Can't figure it out

They are puzzles. You have to create the image in the lower right hand corner without ever retracing your steps. I found them fun! I only did two of them (the boat and the sword, the sword being a touch trickier). The key is figuring out which is the correct star to start with. Good luck!

One of them has 17 stars in the reference image and 16 in the puzzle. How are we supposed to solve that?

NVM, figured it out. Turns out the puzzle can be moved around :/

Ahh yeah I was like at a total loss trying to figure out the High Dragon, until I read your post and moved UP the screen and there were more stars... then it was easy to see!

Hi, I need help with this Astrarium in the Hinterland trying for hours know:

I believe that one there is an extra dot and you have to scroll down to see the bottom star.

I think I've solved it but idk how to describe which way to go. I started on the far left side though

actually you have to scroll abit to see all the stars and there are 2 that do not connect, but do complet the bigger full picture if you finish this one.

Not sure if you solved this one or not but you start from the far left the two lines at the top are connected its just really hard to tell lol hope that helps took me forever to figure it out.

Where is that Astrarium on the map? Closed all Rifts, got all shards in the Hinterlands but am missing that Astrarium.  Thanks!

I'm really impressed people are finding these difficult, like someone previously said, the key is finding the start. In the 6 hours trials I did each one I tried first time.

There's a trick, count the the number of lines coming out of each intersection, only start at the point where there are odd numbers of lines coming out of it. The rule is always:

 

1. If all intersections have an even number of lines, then it doesn't matter where you start.

2. If there are 2 points that that have an odd number of lines, you have to start at one of these 2 points, and you must finish at the other.

3. If there are more than 2 points with an odd number of lines coming out, then it simply can't be done. (None of the games puzzle should be like this)

Two things to remember with these:

1) Some (like one with screenshot above) can be scrolled around

2) You do NOT need to use every star while connecting things

The trick is that the two dots at the center top ARE connected...this had me until I looked closely and realized this fact. Start at the upper right or left (dragons wingtip) and proceed to body, then where the three lines intersect move up to complete the upper "triangle and back to where u started said triangle, then down all the way to the bottom and around to other wingtip. Hard to put into words but very easy once you know the two upper stars touch. Good luck!!

They are not really difficult, but I too had not seen that you have to scroll around for e.g. Draconis. Once you realise that, they are fine.

Thank you! I don't have the luxury of an HD tv, so when I was doing the sword one I could only see the longer lines, which left me wondering what exactly it was that I did wrong.

If it has extra dots disregard them. Only use the ones that correspond with the pic in the lower right corner

i didn't notice a picture off to the side lol, this will make them alot easier to do
