Hi!

I'm really excited to be picking up my copies of the game tonight, and yet I'm very paranoid whether my PC would support DA3, mainly due to the graphics card and OS.  Here's my current configuration on my desktop if any kindful soul out there can give me their input?

- Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400  [2.66GHz, 4MB L2, 1333MHz FSB]

- 6GB DDR3 1066MHz SDRAM

- NVIDIA Geforce GT 430 graphics card

- Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit)

However I think I might be mistaken and I actually upgraded my PC to Windows 7 Ultimate...so if that's the case, then would the graphics card be suffice or I would have to use their minimum requirement for the graphics (NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT)?  My PC works just as fine playing DA:O and DA2 and would prefer to keep upgrades as minimum as possible.

overclock your CPU and buy a better graphic card, the GT430 is crap, but it is "fast" enough to run the game. resolution?

Here are my specs:

GPU: GeForce GTX 560 Ti

CPU: Intel Core i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20 GHz

Memory: 16 GB RAM

OS: Windows 7 Home premium

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

lol @ high-end hexacore CPU with midrange GPU. 560ti is ~30% slower than the 660, good enough for medium details with some set to high, maybe.

btw there already are at least two big threads on this topic...

So getting a 660 can solve the details issue?

I plan on starting with highest end resolution, but if I get any stutter, I'll be scaling down quickly.

Thanks for the input!

in this performance-range i wouldnt upgrade for ~30%. buy a GTX970 or a R9 290(X) and have fun. or at least a R9 280X.

Thanks for the feedback!  I'm running on 1920 x 1080 which is what my monitor supports.  What card would you recommend based instead?

I've read somewhere on here that the game won't run on a dual core PC.

How truthful that is though, I have no idea.

depends on your budget and the PSU you have. the R9 280X would be a nice card, but you need a good PSU with at least 400W for it.
