Hello ladies and gentlemen of the United Kingdom. 

 

Inquisition is almost upon us, and now begins the tentative wait for us in the UK who have to wait an extra couple of days for the game. Heck its gonna be hard to avoid the spoilers... and heck its gonna be hard to stop checking my email every five minutes for the shipping confirmation... but its almost here, and it looks glorious.

Hopefully I might get the game early by a day or so at least seeing as I ordered with Amazon Prime's 'super fast delivery'... it has got me games early around 50% of the time in the past, so here is hoping.

 

So what methods are you guys using to avoid spoilers?

 

And do you think you might be able to get the game early too?

 

Its gonna be a long couple of days.

Glad to see we're not the only ones having to wait... It's been so hard to avoid spoilers. I'm avoiding the Dragon Age reddit and tumblr tag, because so far they've managed to spoil a few little things for me.

On the bright side, the game comes out on Friday so you get Dragon Age AND a weekend. I'm trying to convince my boss that I need the day off, if she agrees it's going to be one glorious Friday.

Yeah a launch day patch would be awesome, I've seen a few bugs in the little bits of gameplay I've seen... like companions spinning round in the middle of conversations XD

Hopefully if they do put out a patch it isn't too big... because I have awful internet speed and I'll just want to dive right into it

I've ordered from them too. They do generally post early, usually just to guarantee it arriving on release day.

What day do they usually ship out Friday releases? Saw a lot of people saying they had Far Cry around the weekend, but I imagine they ship Tuesday releases out beforehand to account for the weekend.

Yeah. I'm treading very carefully with social media until Friday.

 

I'm spending the next few days offline as much as possible. I'm going to get all my house chores done (to minimise the fallout when I go into hibernation on Friday).
