I hope patch for PC arrives by time my games unlock...all bugs and problems I read about that happens on PC really make me scared of playing right away

I am cheating, and playing mine early.  I'm glad I am because it has taken me a day to find my best settings.  Ultra graphics looks worse than medium graphics (go figure).  The only setting on ultra is meshes the rest medium.

Keys took ages to set up before I found a comfortable solution.

 

So put away your first days play for fiddling about with your settings.  

 

Oh, and don't forget, the latest Nvidia drivers cause the game to crash.

My wife signed for it 30mins ago.

 

Won't know whether anything is missing/broken until my daughter and I open it tonight but since I'd gone for free shipping rather than express and wasn't expecting it for another few days (at least) to get it the day before official UK release is doubleplusgood in my book.

 

Tomorrow I'll find out whether I can even play the darn thing though.

Good luck with the launch. I'm kinda glad I've gone console this time. Xbox one has had the dlc issue, not sure if it's sorted yet but as long as I can play I'll be happy.

You'll have to wait until midnight. If you bought the PC version, you can use a VPN to unlock it early.

My enthusiasm  has taken a hit due to a lot of the feedback on these forums but I'm still going to be at GAME tomorrow morning at 9:00am and have the day booked off work  (as well as my schedule cleared for the weekend) to drive as deeply as possible into the game.

 

Am intending to burn through the main quest as quickly as possible and try and ignore all the stupid fetch-quest distractions in the over-world.
