For those that are bummed about the later release, think about it this way:  Those of us in NA are pretty much bug testing for you.  The QA team is really good and I know that they've squashed a lot of the truly game breaking bugs.  However, as many would tell you, a million players has an excellent chance of finding an odd bug that a thousand testers might never see.  Since you're getting the game a bit later, you'll have some time in a good way.  It'll help get those patches out and time to install new drivers.

 

I'm waiting voluntarily myself, even though I bought the game as a preorder.  I ran a benchmark test, but otherwise I'm going to wait for a day or two.  I know that at least some of the bigger issues will probably be addressed by then.  

 

Tip: When you get the game installed, do a repair when the option is available.  This will save you some time and trouble.

its bad enough that we cant play yet, but whats really worrying me, is the vast amount of problems people are having, all the crashes, non loading, freezes, low fps, not exaclty the most encouraging launch. Maybe we are lucky in that it might get patched before we can play on the 21st.

Just checked the technical issues forum out, and I agree. A lot of really bad stuff happening right now, if we're lucky Bioware acts quickly and fixes some of the stuff before we start playing. I usually play Bioware games some months after release, how fast are they regarding bugs/patches?

Pre-loaded and stagnant.  It's very frustrating knowing that the full game, plus patch, is loaded into my computer but I can't play because some nerd made up a date of the top of his head.

 

It's there, right there.  Let us at it.

I really wish it was a global release on one particular day, rather than having to spend a whole week dodging spoilers, unsubscribing to people on Youtube to avoid the temptation of watching spoilerific videos. Sure, we might have the benefit of bugs being fixed and NA being EU bug testers, but DAMMIT!

I have no problems with the temptation of watching a spoiler vid, my issue is people that solely aim to grief your experience with this game and go out of their ways to spoil it, which forces you to go dark in almost any social media thingy out there. 

 

Now i dont know the reason why there isnt just a global release date, maybe there's a good one but it sure feels like we're still livin' in the stone age sometimes

I would suppose because us British citizens are superior to the rest of civilization, that they work that little harder and longer to make sure the British copy is highly polished.

No spoilers, just people bitching about K+M controls even though they can remap everything but the mouse and most of what they're complaining about has been noticeable from day 1....

That would be so cool.  We could imprison the whole of Bioware, and force them to create games for their dinner.  And if on occasion they worked especially hard, we could reward them with a bar of chocolate and a episode of eastenders.

No Bloody Idea on the Legal part it was suggested for our friends in India so they could buy the game from a different region,

 

A VPN creates a connection between you and something else (Virtual Private Network), So basically makes origin think you are in place x.

The how:

 

Google VPN program, Close origin, Connect to a public US server (use google), start Origin, Start the game, Close the VPN, Enjoy Dragon Age
