It feels like its lagging like hell, characters sometimes wont listen to my commands (ordered Varric far back, in few seconds he stays near boss, Kassandra just stuck in place doing nothing), one time after I died character stayed like he is alive. Its not fluent at all.
I loved combat in Dragon Age 2, but this is just terrible. I died on Nightmare several times against Demon of Pride just because my characters wont frigging listen to my commands. Anyone esle experienced such thing?

Were you using the TAC Cam when you issued orders?

Dont like that I have to switch between tactical and normal view constantly. Seriously, do we really need tactical view just to send follower somewhere? It was perfect in DA2, two modes only bring confusion.

I'm sure there will be more updates over the next few weeks. I wondered how they were juggling 5 different platforms, and with a new engine too...

My understanding is that the new AI while "dumbed down" from DA2 is still intelligent. The new stramlined tactics required spamming BARRIER and that tanks have GUARD plus quaffing Health potions, which they should be using if properly set up. This is especially crucial playing in high
difficulty settings.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I played it for 6 hours last week and absolutely loved it. Can't wait to get back into it later on tonight.

The PS4 has a microcode patch for some of the bugs dicovered by reviewers. This patch has nothing to do with ORIGINS or
the game.

Please note I have adjusted amazingly well to the new PC tac cam, have no issue with ordering around my companions, utterly love the new combat systems, even runs game without with out any noticeable lag or stutter on my old ass PC (so have no idea what people who claim lag and awkwardness when everything is so smooth are going on about) and have I mentioned how much fun the combat is?
Anyone who ones to claim otherwise and call me some console generation shithead, you know what? Up yours, cause I have no idea what game you're playing.

Game reviewers playing with consoles found bugs. Some of these bugs are console hardware related. A firmware patch is supposed to be available prior to game launch. So, if he is playing with a console, he needs to download and install the firmware patch first.

Given I think he's talking about the pride demon near the beginning of the game I doubt he has barrier. The thing that concerns me is companions possibly ignoring order unless they are done in tac cam mode.

You have access to barrier in that fight. Solas is specced with it when you get him.
It's too bad nothing happens when you press a button sometimes. I think when you press a button, something awesome should happen.

Solas starts with barrier, so he does. I had the same issues while almost exclusively using tactical cam... characters constantly ignore commands, though when it DOES work it is pretty awesome. It took me like 5 tries to defeat the Pride Demon on nightmare simply because Varric loved bending over and spreading his cheeks wide open instead of moving like I damn told him to and Cassandra kept PMSing and deciding she wanted to do her own thing.
Maybe it's realism: technically I've earned no respect yet and I'm not even a leader... lol.
It's hardly the worse bug, though it is probably the most annoying. There are some pretty bad ones out there though. Had to restart a new file because a tutorial window got glitched on my screen that persisted through everything.. from reloading,cutscenes, to a computer restart. On that new file Cassandra glitched and didn't even me the starting dose of potions, so I was rocking no potions for a while... fun times...
Despite being buggy as all hell though none of them are really game breaking and the game itself is loads of fun.
To not create new topic, maybe somebody can tell me how I can respec abilities of main hero and companians? Mad bull ability is so useless lol

Are you playing with a PC? Hardware specs OK? Try reducing your graphics to see if the chars still play dumb.or on EASY mode.
They may be bugs or it's a hardware deficiency issue such as "slow" CPU, not enough memory main/video....
Believe it or not, I still play with my Samsung SyncMaster 753DF. CRT analog monitor....1024X768 resolution..with a
Radeon 7770 video card...
