To the others who've used voodoo magic to get the game already, is this only happening with male characters? Is it happening to everyone or just some people? For those that it is happening to, is it happening on all your characters or just some of them?

This is happening to my male quizzy as well....can anyone confirm that a restart will fix this?

I'm worried now as all the chars refer to me as female and I don't want my romances affected though I did always want to romance Sera but it just wouldn't feel right

Does restarting before the Pride demon fight fix this? I don't want to completely start again with no assurance that doing so will fix anything.

Confirms this happen. Could say maybe it's plot of the game??? But if it's a bug then I rather want it fixed soon.

Good news for those with the bug as it doesn't seem to affect proper romance dialogues as Cullen rejected my male human char so other than random comments you are still classed as male Still can't believe such an obvious bug survived in the final build! Perhaps it only happens to those who used vpns to Korea though that would still be odd.

I had this happen to me as well, i picked it up in the very first conversation you're in. I remade my character the same as he was before and it didn't happen again. I'm not sure if it's fixable while in a save.

This actually sounds useful. If it only happens once in a while, then enough new games will get the result you want. So if you want to romance someone with the wrong gendered character, you can. If you're transgender and want to get into your character better, you can. This is something I almost want unpatched.
