This game is 100% worth a purchase, and that's coming from someone who detested those games.

It's just guddamn fantastic.

Just wanted to voice my content with the product I bought

Can confirm this is true: the game is worth any amount of money you could throw at it. Start throwing!

I do rather hope that you are correct.

I'd like to see BioWare get out of their slump...the ride with BioWare since ME2 and DA:O were literally printing them money has not been without its major disappointments.

The studio really needs a good comeback piece, I am hoping DA:I fits that bill.

When Bioware isn't rushed by EA, MAGIC happens. /truth

I liked ME3, and yes, even Dragon Age 2 (though not in comparison to Origins). So the only thing currently holding me back is the release date.

This.

Although ME3 and DA2 weren't up to the epic-ness and glory were used to out of Bioware, they are still better than the majority of games that have come out within the past few years. Just my humble opinion.

And I'm dying for DA:I!!!!

ME3 only mistake was the ending, TORtanic had the interesting legacy system... sadly i can't find a good point in DA2. The only reason i hate ME3 is the ending, TOR was not bad... I liked some of it's features

ME3 was fantastic and I loved every minute of it.
7 hours left till the game is in my hands- the wait today has been worse than it has been the past year though lol

I pre-ordered my DA at local game shop week ago after watching gameplay vids and it looked good.
Basically I am giving Bioware last chance...if they screw it i am issuing official "myfamily burn notice" on them, but from vids and their knowledge that they cant afford another mistake i am very confident that this is going to be a good game.

As someone who loved DA2 and thought ME3 was one of the best games I've ever played, I don't know how to feel about this thread.

Will I even be able to play DA: I, or will I spontaneously combust at the CC screen?

I think I'm firmly in the wait and see zone.  My best friend is getting this, I'll see what he has to say about it.  Then I'll read some reviews, watch some gameplay videos and make a decision.  May pick it up in a couple weeks if I like what I hear.

Same, I thought ME3 was great unitl the ending, DA 2 was decent but not great( the reused areas really ticked me off the most) TOR was the best leveling experience I have had in an mmo...then raiding was so meh we all quit. This game has really impressed me so far.

HEY EA! YOU WANNA MAKE MONEY? DON'T RUSH THEM :)

I'll go with this with a rental to boot...

I didn't buy ME 3 on release and got it a year later when it was on sale. I'm quite excited for this one though, couple of hours left...

I mostly agree with you here.  ME3 was a fantastic game with a crappy 10 minutes at the end, and that was partially fixed with the free DLC ending.  And it also had Citadel... which justifies the existence of DLC.

Also, 5hrs and 17 minutes for me.

If you don't count ending, what bothered me the most was that even drastically different save imports were 99% the same.
Games problem wasn't import, ending, plot, that false advertising, or "you no life, mom basement fans think you are entitled". That were symptoms of Bioware Edmonton just didn't give a damn and EA wanted milking more money.
For now indications are that this guys realized their mistakes and are now kicking ass back again. It should be awesometacular.
