Having to mute every single person and hope you get to before the match starts is getting very very old.

Every Mic I have ever owned had a volume slider on it.  If I push it in it either mutes all incoming chat or turns it down so low I can't hear it.

You dont. Even though in the stream they said you could. Mics are always active.

I don't even have a mic since my disability precludes me from using voice chat.  I just don't want to hear anyone else, either.

 

Sheesh, even in ME multiplayer you could turn the darn thing off completely.

Yeah that's something Bioware should and could easily fix, add an option to disable voice chat.

 

Me and my friends use an external ventrilo so we don't disturb people in the game but it's annoying having to mute everyone every time.

same here, me and my friend usually play toguether and I'm sure we are disturbing many people cause we don't speak english and everybody is listening us. Please, add a disable voice chat option, so we can speak in private using ventrilo, teamspeak, etc.

I'd love an answer to this as well.  To make things worse, there's a ridiculous bug on PC where pressing the mute button (which only shows up when they are talking) will mute someone else.  Or unmute someone else that you already muted.  it's ridiculous.

 

I just want a checkbox "mute all for all sessions".  Tired of xbox teens screaming obscenities.

yeah, I haven't tried MP yet, but if you can't mute everyone easily, then its not something I would enjoy.

Easy. Make a private party in ps4 chat and you dont hear nothing in the game
