My pc died yesterday as well. I'm in the EU so i had litterally just finished preloading the game, was about to log in to the DA Keep and boom, pc shut down. Tried to reboot ...nothing. opened the case, started again, the cpu and casefans start spinning for like 1-2 seconds and then nothing....
And i just installed a new graphics card on Saturday, hope it's not related to that lol.
And i don't even have a gf to blame...
I had just finished character creation when my gf walked into the room and spilled a glass of water all over my pc. im posting this via a tiny laptop not capable of running DAI. you all know what this means right? i shall now live vicariously through you all! post frequently so that i might stave off depression and boredom

Where did the water get in the pc? If your tower is properly build there shouldn't be many places were water can leak into it. That means that most likely only a small amount of stuff is broken. I would start by buying and installing a new, ähm ..., i don't know the english word for it. It's where you plug your electric cable into. Since it's often located on the top of the tower and has a ventilation system it is very likely that the water got into there and wrecked it. It's entirely possible that this is the only thing that's broken.
Just replace that one and you might just be fine. This device is generally pretty cheap, you should be able to afford a new one easily.

I'll be honest it would not be fun to have my pc be ruined by an accident, day of release. I might just crack up if I knew I couldn't get replacements that weren't covered under warranty. I wouldn't cry, I would probably just go into psychosis. I mean really the last thing I would be thinking about is sex. Like I said, I was totally joking. I was trying to get a laugh out of how tragic it was. Sometimes that's the only way to cope.

I feel your pain; my 4.5 year old rig decided the Inquistion was too much to handle. After multiple crash-to-poweroff failures, it finally quit and never came back. I either have a bad 4-pin lead on my PSU, or the MOBO shorted between the 4-pin and the CPU. Even on lowest settings, I was apparently drawing enough load to finally expose the looming weakness in my system. Either way, I've got a bunch of new equipment enroute from NewEgg.
Not to sound mean or anything but, you might want to get a new girlfriend before getting a new PC.

Also, making a women feel guilty to manipulate her into sex is a form of both mental, and sexual abuse. I suggest some of you males, take a serious look at yourselves and think'how would i feel if i saw a guy using guilt to manipulate my sister/mother/ or daughter into sex?' I bet all of you wouldn't like a guy to do that to a female you care about; so stop encouraging other males to do it to women.
Pff if you don't want to have sex you don't.. Any women (or man!)i know is strong enough to decide that for herself.
