On PC during the very first quest I am consistently crashing in the same spot each time (as I pass the wagon on the path), I've tried altering the settings, even reducing the resolution to its minimum but it still does so no matter what I do.

For me, DA2's last patch introduced a consistent crashing bug that would freeze my whole computer forcing me to hard restart. This never occurred when playing in Windowed mode. 

 

So try playing in Windowed mode and see if that helps.

having the same issue, crash to desktop as I pass the wagon during the prologue. Only other person I've seen with this problem. Have you made it past and if so what worked?

also having this issue when trying to go up the hill past the wagons during the prologue, have you figured out a solutions yet?
