can i highlight all objects in DAI? it is quite hard to see some objects and i really do not want to miss them. Im playing on the PC.

anyway, the game is gorgeous but i have already discovered minor bugs like getting trapped in the rocks etc.

also, how do i talk to my companions? why can't i click on them?

If you're using mouse and keyboard, hit V. It will send out a pulse which will highlight any interactive objects immediately around you. With a controller (xbox), you can send the pulse by clicking the left stick.

There's an "examine" button that does an aura burst that highlights everything in your local vicinity.  Other than that there's no "highlight all" button any more.

yeah took me a while to figure that out in the console version because I was in a hurry. The pulse is a great thing!

The pulse is for things near to you.  It's a bit better on consoles because the controller vibrates as you get closer.

Hmm.

I'm glad I have a Razer Sabertooth controller, in that case.

The highlight needs to be more obvious and last longer.....or more obvious and keep highlighted as we hold down a key ala DAO+DA2.

It feels like playing where's waldo lol, hitting the pulse and hearing it ping then looking around and trying ot find that one little elfroot off int eh corner aorund a shrubbery that is a bit hard to see.

The outline should be brighter or a different colour then the yellow'ish tint, that color bleeds into the trees and other things way too easily.

With the pulse, I wish it would highlight the items on the mini-map. As it is, you have to swing the camera around while spamming the pulse in order to figure out where the item is, usually squinting in the process because the outline matches the post-processing bloom on most surfaces.

I like the concept, though, because it encourages you to actually go out an explore.

The more of these threads I read the more a lack of mod tools at release sounds like its been a colossally unfortunate misstep on BioWare and EA's part.

A lot of these things coming up are stuff modders could easily hotfix with the right resources on hand saving BioWare a lot of time and their customers a lot of angst in the process.
