I know people are geeking out over other things.  But has anybody listed somewhere or could list for me the crafting recipes for the different types of armour that help us unlock the different characters?  I'd love to see them so I can try to consider planning how I am going to approach my unlocking of characters and what I play first.

You need a LOT of mats to unlock characters, so it doesn't matter if you see it before hand really.

You're gonna have to play a bunch of games, salvage a ton of weapons.

Basically what you do is keep the best weapon in each category for your characters and salvage everything else.

I'm level 10 after like 5-6 failed games and 1 successful one on Routine difficulty and have nowhere near enough mats to craft a new Class.

I only opened large chests with my money which are the most cost efficient and had the deluxe chest on top of that.

I'll probably get level 18-20 before I have enough mats to craft a new class.

I don't understand why the tier 2 mats don't seem to fulfill the requirements. I have an assortment of hides but they don't count as leather despite being in the leather category? What the hell?

I lucked out and got an elementalist armor from the random loot chests. :D

That being said I just have enough mats to make a few of the classes after about 20 matches but only enough for 1... gotta figure out which one before I get home from work but I'm thinking Reaver or no wait templar!? Ugh... It's gonna be a long day...

I can't wait for them to introduce new tilesets and characters.

You need to have the specified amount of that particular material, not just the specified amount of leather (ex: You would need 9 Wyvern Scales; not 3 Wyvern Scales, 3 Rough Hide and 3 Phoenix Scales).

Hopefully that was the question you were asking. If not, let me know. I've crafted a few things so far in MP, so I'll be happy to help however I can. :)

Thanks Anzer, that was exactly the problem.
