I don't know if this counts as a Keep topic? I don't think it does, since it relates mostly to Inquisition, but what are some last minute world changes you've made today (or are tempted to make today) before the game comes out?

 

I am still dancing around letting Marjolaine, Loghain, and/or the Architect live.

I create another state from scratch and pretty much re-conned the entire world in that. I now have zero states where I romanced Anders. I glossed over some other things because I couldn't remember what I did in DA2 so a good majority of the people that could die, I killed them off. (Not the companions mind you.)

 

I have to admit, I love the Keep. It makes it s I don't have to play these games over and over again to get the outcomes I want.

I made some changes to Varric's friendship with Hawke after I read certain spoilers, but otherwise I've only made minor tweaks to certain choices.

All my DA2 decisions will be last minute and, as SporkFu put it, 'chaotic neutral'. I don't have DA2 so I have no idea what all these choises 'mean'

I was gonna make a qunari mage, but I ended selecting the human mage instead. I can actually relate to him more than I would a qunari, so I'm happy. Mainly it's weird to romance Iron Bull with another Qunari.
I was also gonna play as an Andraste follower, but I think I'll save it for my Qunari inquisitor.

I'm fiddling around with creating two alternate world states.  One I call "Total FUBAR" where I'm trying to create the darkest timeline.  The other I call Mage Power, where all the heroes are mages looking to gain power at any cost.

Does DA:I (and/or the Keep) fix your and Alistair's decision regarding the mages and the Templars? After siding with the Templars and making Alistair king, I asked for the mages to be their own masters and not be controlled by the Templars. Alistair agreed.

 

Epilogue immediatly killed this decision, lol. Since this was 'retconned' in DA:O already, I doubt it got fixed. (and does DA2 allow for such a decision? I wouldn't know, don't have the game).

 

I didn't see any mention of this in the Keep, so I doubt it.

I currently have Anders alive, I might kill him off. Not sure what consequences are if you let him live.

I'm not sure if I want Alistair to be King or a Warden...  He was originally a Warden in my "ideal" worldstate with my preferred choices, but I might go back and make him King.

I'm only considering this because of some spoilers I read that he *might* die if I keep him as a Warden, and I'd rather not see that happen

Very annoyed we have to use the dragon keep instead of our saved game files, I mean will we get to see our stuff from DA 1 & 2 ?

Some minor tweaks to things, but mostly satisfied with my 'canon' world state.  I changed two minor (one because of a consequence I don't want) and the other to forestall another potential consequence.  Otherwise, pretty much going in with my recreated warden/Hawke as they were when I played them.

Probably inconsequential, but I changed the hanlding of the conspirators from Orsino to the templar grandmaster. Figure those guys could be trouble down the road.

Yes.  Keep is meant to cut down on bugs introduced with saved game files, so is a much better system of determining what kind of world you want Inquisition to be.

Considering how many times with all the races I played through DA:O, I pretty much picked what I liked. Never played DA 2 so I just made a few things up.

Pick a Hawke who got along with Varric, and supposedly Varric ditches you. I've got a romanced warden!Alistair, and I would greatly prefer not losing him. On the other hand, Varric is great. Executing Anders would be so the cousins could at least relate over dead boyfriends.

Thinking about loading my nasty pro-templar world state and doing my templar playtrhough first for some reason, a lot seem to be going mage and heard warrior class is nice. So that may be my last mintue  change pro-templar first, pro-mage seconds.

I usually name and make my first character based on myself. I didn't take into account the fact that saves would be imported, so now the three mightiest heroes of recent history have the same name x)!
