Can we get an explanation of what these options mean? Like what's the difference between Post-process AA and multisample AA in the frostbite engine?

Post Process is FXAA, SMAA and TXAA if I remember correctly (Which I probably don't. All three settings look somewhat blurry to me so could be just three levels of FX). MSAA can be set to 2x and 4x and laughs at my gpu when I enable it.

It allows you to change your image resolution seperate from everything else.

No, downscaling, ie you can keep menus, texts, ui, etc... at 1080p but lower the resolution of the game itself.Like upscaled 720p to 1080p upscaling type thing?
