Just checked for updates on Nvidia.  nothing yet.  The last update I have is for Assassins Creed Unity.  Will check again later.

I'm surprised we even need a new driver.  It is Frostbite 3 engine, so it could be already obtimized for it.  But who knows how much moddification it was done.  AMD states is for Far Cry 4 also, so it might more more for that

AMD is very good about releasing beta drivers for new releases relatively quickly.

Before DA:I, I never knew AMD and NVidia released drivers for new games... I guess I never needed it to run games, but seeing as how some people have reported poor performance, this may be the time for me to update.

 

Off to download the drivers.

Usually happens when you don't uninstall properly first.

Hmm, ok. I'll try that. I assume you mean selecting 'uninstall drivers' when running the official AMD installer?

Why?  Game will run fine with current drivers, like I said above, its Frostbite 3 engine.  Nvidia already optimized the heck out of the drivers.

I don't think Bioware screwed it up.  And I heard 0 complaints about performace so far.

Thanks for that, OP - I've bookmarked them rather than installing because yesterday I had BSOD dramas caused by new installations that caused me to freak out, so I'll see how the game plays first! To be honest, in that German video () even the low settings look pretty amazing.

Uninstalling first then reinstalling solved the problem. I can now select Mantle in the Graphics API setting. Thanks!
