Where should I buy Dragon Age 2

Obviously I want it, more than that, I NEED it. But since it vanished from steam I have been struggling to find a place where to purchase it.

What I am confused about are the DLCs. By the looks of it they are nowhere to be found so I am guessing that they are available through some micro transaction on origin and since it is origin, there probably will be nothing micro about it...

So where can/should I buy the game and the DLCs. Also how much would it cost to have EVERYTHING? And can I hope to get some discounts since DAI is coming out?

Thanks in advance for any advice, I have never bought any EA games before and for most of what I wanted steam was the answer, this has left me kind of in the dark about rest of the game market.

I think the Dragon Age 2 forum might be the best place to find someone who can answer your question.

You can get the game through Origin, which also helps with the DLC problem... ...somewhat. It still uses the legacy Bioware Points system, which means you need to access the legacy BSN. On the new BSN front page, go right to the very bottom of the page, and under the "Dragon Age II" listing, click "Official DLC." Log into the legacy BSN system, then under the Profile option on the left, click "Add Bioware Points." You can then buy the DLCs from the Origin client.

Note: I seem to recall one of "Add Bioware Points" pages (there are several) being bugged. Let me know if they still haven't fixed it.

Edit: As for getting everything, if my old-fashion (top-of-my-head) math is right, then everything add up to 4,400 points, which equates to $55.00.

Buy it on a console. You can get it on Origin but the DLCs are cheaper on console.

The game is generally in the $5-15 range for GameStop. This game never got a "complete" edition made with all the DLCs on disk, so you'll have to buy all of the pieces of DLC individually. I'd imagine the DLC prices haven't changed, as DLC remains the same price forever unless it's on sale for some reason. If you're getting it for a console, then I'd suggest a brick-and-mortar store. They usually don't charge much for the game. If you want all the DLC, then you'll have to buy a new version of the game because The Black Emporium is only available on new disks. I happened to luck out, and I got a code that was never used in a used copy, but I don't think that's the norm.

So...disk version...

Disk: 5-15

Origin version...

20

Amazon prices by Bioware points...

The exiled prince: 7

Legacy: 10

Mark of the assassin: 10

I'd imagine that the prices on consoles would be similar...

Based on that...

Disk total = 32-42 dollars

Origin total = 47 dollars

Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the answers.

By the looks of it DA2 will be out of reach my reach for now. At least for the moment. 100$ that ofc will be translated into 100euros are a little bit out of my price range, hopefully they will eventually make a complete edition or something so I dot get totally butt hurt on the DLCs.

Don't know about PS3 but on xbox 360 the DLCs went down in price. Where as on PC they're the same price as they used to be.

Example, DLC on xbox is usually 800 or 1200 MS(Microsoft Points) on release, but as they got older they came down to 400 or 520 MS. This is the standard for most DLCs on xbox 360, I imagine it'd be the same for Dragon age 2.

Wait till it's on sale on Origin and you can get it for $5. The DLC is another matter, however, since I've yet to see it discounted.
